Friday Sketcher
I took the girls up to their grandparents yesterday and came back this afternoon ... on my own to an empty house as hubby is away for the weekend too!!! Peace and crafting!!! Here's the card I have made for Friday Sketchers and Allsorts (vintage) challenges.
I watercoloured Tilda and then distressed the background in peeled paint, tattered rose and vintage photo. I added flower soft to the basket. I stamped the swirls in sepia, delibrately stamping a couple without re-inking to create a more faded look. I kept the sketch unfussy, just adding organza ribbons and stamping the swirls in the corners to match those on the image. No flowers - didn't look right.

Love the muted colors and the papers you chose! Wonderful combinations! Great job with the flower soft. It fits in so nicely that I didn't notice that's what it was at first.
