Visible Image - Isabella

Today I am showing you Isabella from Visible Image Stamps.

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie

I adore this image, I just love the look on her face, lost in love, well I hope its love and not a broken heart!!  Having coloured her in using my pens I fussy cut her out due to a clumsy cat walking across the cardstock!!  Tom is not as careful round my crafting stuff as Miffy was - but hew will learn!!!  Anyway having cut her out I popped her onto 3d foam pads for a bit of dimension.  The dp is MME Pris and Co and the circle is also on 3d foam pads for dimension.  The sentiment is from Visible Image's Imagine, Dream, Inspire set and I popped it under the circle.  I added some lace, ribbon, punched butterflies, pearls and a button on the centre of the bow.

And for more inspiration don't forget to check out the Visible Image's facebook page, and the Visible Image blog where we have a monthly challenge.  This month's theme is love.

This is my last week as guest designer for Cute Card Thursday, and I have had a blast.  The theme is something old ... and I went for old stash as a certain person I live with has suggested i need to use up some of my older stash!!! He didn't mention the fact that that would mean more room for new stash :)

I love the stamps from the JanuaryStamp kit, and masked Bucket of Fun and the well to create a little scene.  The dp is Basic Grey and I went a bit embellishment mad, adding lace, ribbon, pearls, flowers and a diecut banner!!

Crafty Sentiments Wedding release

Its the last day of the Crafty Sentiments Wedding release, and I am sure you will agree all 5 images have been absolutely gorgeous ... perfect for those wedding cards for the summer.

SO today I am showing you Tobey Groom 2 ... How fabulous does he look?!!!

I decided to make a bottle tag to match the tag I made for Sunday's release.  Having colouredTobey in I cut him out and put him on the decorated tag using 3d foam pads.  The hearts were made using a couple of heart dies, and some red and cream glittered card.  I made a triple bow out of gold organza to add to the hearts.  Finally a few pearls to finish it off.
But looking smart like this Tobey would be perfect for 18th/21st male birthday, job congratulations or graduation congratulations - he is one versatile dude!!

And here are the matching bottles ...
And a closer look at the tags and gorgeous images ...

The bottle tag was really easy to make.  I simply cut a peice of cardstock 10cm x 26cm, scored at 4cm and 11.5cm.  I used a nestibility circle to cut out the 'hole' in the bewtween the 2 score lines.

Visible Images - Max

I have some really exciting news - I am now part of Visible Image Stamps design team :)  Mark designs
some fantastic clear polymer stamps, including backgrounds, and they stamp up really crisp images.

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie

 So here is Max ...

I thought I would make a tag for a change, and a boy/grungy one!  I coloured Max in using my pens and then cut him out.  I stamped the metal plate background over the whole tag - as the stamp is clear acrylic it is easy to line up to get a repeating pattern.  The tag was distressed and inked round with black soot distress ink.  I die cut the clock and fence using grunge paper, and then coloured them using black soot and silver alchol ink.  The metal tag was embossed and covered with the same alcohol ink, and gently sanded.  I added some stickers to it and dabbed black soot distress ink over it.  Finally the seam binding was distressed with black soot and the tag tied through it.

And for more inspiration don't forget to check out the Visible Image's facebook page, and the Visible Image blog where we have a monthly challenge.  This month's theme isLove.

Altered Suitcase

Lisa has a fabulous range of alterable items in the shop, and the little suitcases are gorgeous!
Here is what i did with mine ...

And this is how I did it ...

I am a cheapskate and won't pay for patterned  tissue paper so I make my own.  So all you need is white tissue paper, your alterable, stamps, inks and embellishments.

Before I started I carefully peeled the straps back using a craft knife - this just makes it easier to cover the case.

I used archival black and sepia inks and stamped all over the tissue paper with stamps.  I used Stampers Anonymous Air Travel set.  You need to be patient at this point and let the ink dry thoroughly.

Once the ink was dry I covered the suitcas with PVA glue and then eased the tissue paper over.  It doesn't need to be very smooth, a few creased helps with the aged look!  You need to cut into the sides to allow the paper to fold .

Once you have covered it and the tissue is dry, glue the straps back down.

Now to age it up - I used vintage photo distress ink and rubbed it all over the suitcase, but not over the straps.

The straps were covered in walnut stain distress ink to add a bit of a contrast.

And finally I decorated it with more stamps and tickets.

Passion for Promarkers Challenge

This week's Passion for Promarkers theme is prince/ss and a crown ...
I used this gorgeous DigiStamp Boutique image, and coloured her in using my pens, before liberally glamour dusting her wings.  Its not really a colour scheme I use but I need to use these First Edition papers as they are very strokeable!!  I added diecut flowers and banners, some pearls and some ribbon and a bow.
