Hopefully we will be up and running at the weekend so hello everyone and speak to you soon. On the odd occasions our 'tinternet works I will try to visit, bit uploading cards might be a challenge!!
See you all soon
Hugs

I have used a fab Penny Black stamp, Lovely Bubbly and layered up, using foam pads, the mouse, bottle and labels. The papers are K & Co and from my stash, and the lace is from my stash. I dunked the lace in the teapot so it got a bit of an antique look to it. I finished it off with a smattering of Prima flowers and a peel off.Take a look at the Design teams creations and the gorgeous card from our guest designer Alison, and then have a go yourself.
I love this Sugar Nellie, she is so calm and placid, unlike the Gremlins I live with!!! I have decided to have another go at katharina's sketch (see a couple of posts below) with her. I have used a selection of K& Co and Making Memories papers, which I have inked on the edges. The lace and braid are from my stash. I left the lace in a pot of tea for a couple of minutes to get a more antique effect on it. I added a prima flower, which looks really bright having been scanned, but it is the same colour as the dark part of the roses. Sadly I have cut of the edge of the card - oops!!
Katherina has created a lovely sketch for this week's Papertake Challenge.

For the CCT challenge this week you are not allowed to use people. I have chosen this gorgeous PB stamp, as it is hubby's birthday soon, and he will have, well alot of candles!! I have used a mixtures of K & Co Hopscotch papers - been a bit brave mixing these, but I think it works. I am not telling you what the verse inside says, only to hint at the fact that standing back, and having a fire extinguisher in then ear vicinty might be of use!!
have used DCWV Old world Mat Stack papers for this one, and added a cream ribon and proma flowers. The faux stitching is getting a bit habitual at the mo - but I love it!!
Its been a really busy week this week, Ellie has had her Pre-school coffee morning (I sold 24 cards there yippee!!!) and we have started doing the back garden ... so haven't really done any crafting or any blogging. I am going to make a concerted effort to get round everyone's blogs over the next few days.
This week's ABC challenge is to use charms in your creation. I have made an anniversary card for my brother and sister-in-law.
The challenge at My time to Craft is to use numbers on your project, and Cute Card Thursday's challenge is to make a card for a child. I have made this for Beth for her birthday. I love this Maggie - she has the same not so innocent cheeky look as my two horrors.

These are the 2 cards Ellie (aged 3 1/2) has made to say thank you to the staff at her pre-school. She has cut everything except round the images and got on with it herself.
I think I have some serious competition, and they are less analytical in their style - glue stick, dopple of glue stick it down, job done!!! Perhaps I should start using their philosophy!
One for the Boys.
This week's ABC challenge is B for Baby, so you need to make a project with a baby in mind. I have used Basic Grey's two scoops papers and Penny Black's Baby Hammock stamp, which I have watercoloured. The backing paper is embossed and I have used organza ribbon from my stash, a Making Memories flower, and a peel off.
I have been away to stay with my Mum and Dad for a couple of days with girls, and as is the norm, Beth has decided to be ill. She has had a bad cold which she has inevitably shared with me, so I am feeling lousy and not at all creative.
The challenge set by Tilda and co was to make a something as a gift. It is a friend's birthday soon and so I have made a wallet card for her.
The gift tag is made from Papermania cardstock and die cut.
I have combined the Friday Sketchers sketch, designed by Carole, with the Penny Black Saturday challenge, which was to use buttons and brads.
I'm not feeling very creative at the moment so I have used the ATCs I have made over the past week to make a couple of quick cards.
For this card I have used one of the seasons ATCs I made. I have used papermania papers again and die cut flowers. I doodled round the edge of the paper - something I don't often do as I like things to be neat! The temptation to use the paper piercer was great, but I resisted!!
