Sweet n Sassy Digi Challenge

This week's theme over at the  Sweet n Sassy Digi Challenge  is new, old and blue.

I had to get my thinking cap on for this one!!

I used this cute Cocoa image, Lilacs for Cocoa, and coloured it in using my promarkers, before cutting it out.  The dp is a digi paper from my stash (really old!!) and I added some lace (again a bit on the old side!).  I used the Spellbinders floral ovals to create the centre for cocoa to sit in, and both the frame and cocoa are popped up onto dimensional pads to add layered look to the card.  Finally a layered flower and some pearls, and a pearl teardrop headed pin.

And here is my take on the sketch...

I used this cute, chubby Sugar Nellie fairy,  Sprinkle some love, and coloured her in using my copics. I glamour dusted the wings of both fairies, before cutting the image out using my nesties.  The dp is MME and I added some stitching, ribbon and ricrac, a double bow with a button ccentre, and a Prima flower I have had for AGES with a button at its centre.

Crystal Flakes

I am back from my 2 and a half weeks holiday in Millport, seeing my fab friends Ali and Andy, and also getting together with Susan and her family.

I did a little colouring whilst I was away ... and had a wee crafting session at Ali's house, making this ...

 I used Crystal Flakes and coloured her using my copics pens.  I used Ali's white cardstock and embossing folders, and added some thin satin ribon, punched snowflakes and some gems.  I used a little glitter to sparkle up her wings and snowflakes.

CRAFT GDT challenge

This week's theme is fairies ...

I used this fab Saturated Canary image, coloured it with cops and cut the queen and princess out.  The ackground was made using distress inks and lavinia stamps.  I added some sparkle and text Believe in faires, before placing the images on.

Crafting Time DT

 For my DT post this week I have used some products sent to me by the lovely Nina and Helen from Crafting Time.  They were just perfect for using as the starting page for my holiday SMASH book.

I am using the black Mod SMASH book as its got quite plain pages that can be used for pretty much anything.  I used the text stamps from the Foam Stamp Words set, Vacation, and stamped the suitcase that comes in the set onto blue cardstock and cut them out.  I used a Saturated Canary image and coloured her using my promarkers and flexpens before cutting her out.  I added some words from All My Memories Twill saying sets, before adding some embellishements, including a SMASH I need label.  I asked the rest of the family what they were looking forward to and wrote them on pages from the blank SMASH pad (I cut the tops off and will use them elsewhere!  Finally I added my to do list - I am a big list maker!  I used one of the SMASH pads for that too.

Basic Grey Challenge

Aqua Marina from Sugar nellie is coloured using my copics. I masked her before distressing the background using peacock feather distress ink and stamping Lavinia leaves in mowed lawn and evergreen spruce around to create seaweed. The dp is Basic Grey Wisteria and I added some flowers some ribbon, raffia lace, a bow, some pearls and some dots using a couple of Viva Perla pens.

I used one of Robyn's Fetish's images, beautiful bow, and coloured it using my promarkers before cutting it out.  I added some red flat backed pearls over some of the berries.  I made a pillow box to put a small gift in, using Basic Grey Jovial papers and some gorgeous red satin ribbon.  Finally some flat backed green pearls to finish it off.

I used this adorable iamge from Krista's Saturated Canary range, and coloured it using my promarkers and flexmarkers, before cutting it out due to a cat walking across it!!!  The dp is Nitwits and I added some raffia lace, ribbon, a butterfly charm, punched butterflies and flat pearls.

Aqua Marina

I have had a rare day off work, so the girls have been left to their own devices so I could get some packing and crafting in, before our holiday starts on Friday.

My latest Sugar Nellie stamps arrived this morning, so I had to get them inked up ...

 this one is Aqua Marina and she is coloured using my copics. Sorry its a bit brief - dashing off to swimming, then back home, feed the girls and back out to swimming!

Crafting Time DT

After a little break, and with some fab new DT members Its Crafting Time are back with a weekly theme.  This week's theme was a bit of a killer for me ... that dreaded pink with black!!!

I coloured the Saturated Canary image, Jules, in using promarkers and flexmarkers.  The design paper is Basic Grey Kissing Booth, and I matted it onto black cardstock.  I added some layered paper flowers, with a card candi dot coloured with my black promarker at the centre, ribbon, and some gems.

Clean and Simple

I haven't joined in a Less is More challenge for quite a while, still doing the CAS cards but not really blogging them ... but I thought I would have a go with this one.

I used my limited edition Distress ink pads and stamped them straight onto the linen cardstock.  I stamped a Hero Arts script stamp over the top in versafine ink, and added a diecut butterfly with green pearls at its centre.

Hubby has been working all weekend - I am definitely an Olympics widow - seen him for about 3 hours in the last week ... so I am taking the girls to see the Lorax this afternoon before we pick him up from the station.

 I used this gorgeous Rubarb bear image, Rubarb's balloons, and coloured it using my promarkers.  The dp is from Nitwits and I added some Prima flowers, Whimsy diecut corners and some pearls and organza ribbon.

I used this gorgeous Mer-Mae from the Odd Girl, and coloured her using my promarkers.  I added some flat backed pearls and stickles to the image.  The dp is MME Lime Twist, and I did some stiching down either side rather than add ribbon.  I added some flowers from my stash with pearl brads in their centres, and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

I chose to use this cute mouse from The Crafty Pad Designs, and coloured it using my promarkers.  I used glossy accents to glaze the bauble and coloured the lettering in using a gold metallic promarker.  The dp is Nit Wits (I think!) and I added some gingham ribbon and flat pearls.
