Edward from Visible Image

Today I am showing you Edward from Visible Image Stamps.

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie

I love Edward from Visible Image, and wanted to create a dark and moody card for him - Twilight-ish!  I stamped him directly onto my card base and coloured him using my copics.  I then masked him off and created the background using distress inks, and a masked circle for the moon.  Finally I stamped and ghost stamped the winter tree to create a wood.

A couple of cards using Visible Image stamps

For this card I created the background using distress inks (broken china and peeled paint).  I stamped the Tall Grass using mown lawn distress ink and then stamped the large butterfly and butterflies onto the card using versafine ink.  I used peacock feathers and raspberry distress inks and swiped them onto my craft mat, misted them and swiped cardstock through them.  Having dried it,  I stamped the butterflies on to the cardstock and cut them out. I attached them over the stamped butterflies and finally stamped the Butterfly sentiment.

Edgar is coloured in using my pens and then I used the fancy square decorative detail, (correct name is the damask stamp!!) from the Immortal Love set to do the grungy border.  I stamped it in vintage photo and then in walnut stain distress inks, before rubbing tea dye distress ink over the background.   I stamped the men's collage onto kraft cardstock using sepia ink and then distressed it.  The dp is Basic Grey and Bo Bunny and I distressed all the edges.  I added some jute webbing, a charm and some lasercut gears.
