Stamp with Fun Challenge 2

Grandparents are brilliant people!! They have entertained the girls this afternoon so I have yet more crafting!! Another new challenge for me, Stamp with Fun. It is their 2nd challenge, pink and brown. As I am stash restricted and not the biggest fan of pink on earth this was a little challenging ... but here is my card.

I watercoloured the image and distressed her. I matted her onto pale pink cardstock and inked the edges in dark brown. The dp is also matted onto pink and the edges inked. I have kept the layout very simpl, using flowers and swirls as decoration, rather than papers (but this could be because I was lacking on the dp front LOL!!). The flowers are punched and inked up and a gem put in the middle.
