Rockpooling

I simply adore the Hamish and Maggie stamps from Sugar Nellie, sadly most of them are no longer available.  How cute do these two look, searching through the rockpools - that will be us in 4 weeks time :).  I stamped the image directly onto the card blank and then colourd it using my pens.  I created a stippled background, stamped the sentiment and added some twine and a button - very clean and simple.

Time for a little bit of gossip ...

I have had this cute Sugar Nellie fairy for a while, but with everything else that is going on I haven't inked her up until today.  I coloured her using my pens and then simply embossed some white cardstock and matted the image and cardstock up.  I haven't used this diamond stitch pattern embossing folder for ages - love it  I added some gingham ribbon and bow, and the cute ickle tag sentiments.  Finally pearls were added to the tags.

And don't forget ...

CAS is the way forward ...

I keep thinking if I practise more CAS will be easier ... hopefully!!!
I have had ths Penny Black stamp set for ages, just not got round to doing anything with it.  I stamped the butterfly out using distress ink, cut it out and then liberally misted it with pearl glimmer mist - I wanted some 'veining' of the wings.  I embossed the white cardstock, and added a decorative corer and some ribbon.  I cut out the oval and stamped a swirl, before adding the butterfly.  Finally a double bow and some flat backed pearls to fiish it off.

Sweet Angel

If I had to have a favourite stamp, and only keep 1 stamp, it would have to be Rosie, I just love her.  I stamped her onto SU crumb cake kraft cardstock and then coloured her using my pens.  I glamour dusted her wings and bits of her dress and hair.  The tulle was quite wide, so I folded it half and stitched it, adding ruffles as I went along.  I added some seam binding over the top to hide the stitching.  The dp was also stitched.  I added some cheesecloth and a bow, and die cut and punched some snowflakes.  Finally a pearl swirl and pearls to the centres of the snowflakes.

I haven't added a sentiment yet - can't decide who to send it to ... if its one of my nieces I'll use some of the LOTV Christmas tag sentiments ... if its for a grown up I'll probably put a Craftwork Cards sentiment on it.  I really ought to start writing my cards as we have so many to send.
