Big Bunch of Love

A while ago I was asked by a neighbour to make a card for his wife from his older son who at Pre-school with Ellie (her birthday is next week). I have struggled coming up with the right image for the card ... but then I wone the Sugar Bowl challenge and got these fab Mary Halls and my problem was solved.

I have kept it all simple and as the lady in question loves orange and yellow it seemed the obvious choice of colour scheme (eek!!) I coloured the image in promarkers (I am getting better at using them, should practise more!) and matted it onto goldy yellow cardstock. I punched some flowers using my EK Success punches and added a black blob using my Promarker to the centre of the flowers. I matted the sentiment on orange and yellow and finished off with a little punched flower.

Daddy and son love it (huge relief!) and I am pleased with it.

As there are lots of flowers in it I am entering it into this week's CCT - Floral Fantasy.

Recipe:
Stamp(s): Sugar Nellie Big Bunch of Love
Colouring Media: Promarkers
Papers: K and Co Hotpotch
Embellishments: punched flowers
