There are a lot of sketch challenges this week, I did two yesterday, and another two last night ... here are the 2 cards from last. I used the same cardstock, paper pack and distress inks for them and have kept them very simple.
The first card is for the WOJ challenge and is a sketch by Katharaina.

I watercoloured Melinda and distressed the edges. I distressed the edges of the cardstock and only used two patterns from the pad. I was going to embellishments but they looked too fussy, and I love the simplicity of this card .
The second card is for the Sugar Bowl challenge. Again it is a sketch, this time by Marlene, and you need to use buttons.
I watercoloured and distressed the image, and as before have only used a couple of patterned papers. I added clear buttons with lilac ribbon through them and a sentiment. I tried to add the flower from the sketch but it just didn't look right ... so another very simple card.
We are up early here as the electricity goes off at 8am until 4pm today ... eek no hot drinks, no pooter ... and worse of all for Beth no telly when it's snack time!!!
I will catch up with you later on.
