Visible Image - Isabella

Today I am showing you Isabella from Visible Image Stamps.

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie

I adore this image, I just love the look on her face, lost in love, well I hope its love and not a broken heart!!  Having coloured her in using my pens I fussy cut her out due to a clumsy cat walking across the cardstock!!  Tom is not as careful round my crafting stuff as Miffy was - but hew will learn!!!  Anyway having cut her out I popped her onto 3d foam pads for a bit of dimension.  The dp is MME Pris and Co and the circle is also on 3d foam pads for dimension.  The sentiment is from Visible Image's Imagine, Dream, Inspire set and I popped it under the circle.  I added some lace, ribbon, punched butterflies, pearls and a button on the centre of the bow.

And for more inspiration don't forget to check out the Visible Image's facebook page, and the Visible Image blog where we have a monthly challenge.  This month's theme is love.

Manga children

I've been having a play with my Promarkers and Sugar Nellie's Manga images this afternoon.
The first card I made is for the Sugar Bowl, and its Marlene's sketch with doodling.

I coloured the Manga Boy with Promarkers and the cut him out. I matted all the dp (MME Wild Aspargus) onto olive green cardstock. I did dots round the mat circle and crosses and dashes in the corners of the dp. I think I am going to use this card for my hubby's birthday.

The second card is for Sketch Saturday - I forgot the sentiment off it - doh!!
I coloured my image in using promarkers, enjoyed having a play with the hair colour!!. The papers are MME Bloom and Grow. I punched slots to thred the ribbon through and punched flowers.

How many mistakes?

My older baby finished preschool today ... off to 'big' school in September. They did a morning of activities that the parents could stay for and here she is in the tee shirt she designed and painted. (its a princess walking a cat on a lead!)
Having had an emotional morning I thought I would make a cardbefore we go away for the weekend - lost count of the mistaskes on this one - hopefully not too many are still visible LOL! I have used this week's Just Magnolia Sketch by Tab and the theme over at Stampin for the Weekend - masking. I am really chuffed - I made their top 5 last week!

Another of my stamp kit inked up for this. I stamped her and then masked her before adding the watering can. I stamped another couple of images and watercoloured them. I then layered Tilda and the flower upp to add some depth. i went a bit mad with the distressing tool (any guesses which corner got completely removed and restuck?!) and distressed the background and dp in peeled painted and speiced marmalade. I am into textures at the mo so I added lace and raffia and a couple of copper eyelets. The flowers are punched from the dp and pearls added. I inked up the sentiment - only wanted loves me loves me not ... the t didn't stamp - wasn't going to have another go!!

Here's proof its masked - you can just see the original Tilda on the watering can!

Well off to feed the kids and pack the car for a jolly weekend camping!!
Don't forget to pop back tomorrow to see my DT card for the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge.

Cornflower blue and cocoa

There seems to be a colour theme gonig on in the craft room today!! Blue and brown!!
Here's my card for this week's Passion for Promarkers challenge, which is cornflower blue and cocoa and a sketch.
I was determined not to use the papers I used earlier so I struggled a bit to find some dp to match. This Gorguss Girl saw her first inking up today (hanging head in shame!), and having been coloured in using Cornflower blue, Blue pearl, sandsotne, cocoa, henna, ivory and blush, I cut her out using my nesties. I have used brown and blue coredinations carstock and some orangey browny blue dp. I cut the little ovals outusing my nesties and added punched flowers.
Not sure about it ... but I've already sold it!

Simon Says ....

I have finally got round to joining in a Simon Say Stamp challenge, and its a colour challenge, lemon, orange, apple green and pink. I used the Sketch Saturday sketch for the layout, and rotated by 180 degrees.
I watercolured the image and distressed it using spiced marmalade and mustard seed. I used my Glimmer mist screen and spiced marmlade ink to creat the botton right corner detail. All the dp is distressed. I added prima flowers, brads, ribbon and acharm to finish the sketch.
I've just noticed there's something green at the top left corner of the card that shouldn't be there!

Tilda with flower

We have friends coming for the weekend, so in between cleaning the house and tidying I have sneaked into my craft room to get a final crafting fix. No card making until Sunday night now :(
I have combined the Friday Sketcher sketch with the just Magnoli challenge, charms.

I watercoloured Tilda and distressed the edges in Antique Linen and Maghogany. I rotated the sketch - it just seemed to work better for me like this. The dp is my new MME pad - I LOVE it!!! I matted everything onto a couple of colours of cardstock. I punched some flowers and a swirl, added a bit of organza ribbon and it was done ... so back to the cleaning and cooking :(!

Dutch Dare Card Challenge #47

This week's Dutchdare Challenge is to make a Mothers day card, or a card for your Mum. In the UK we have had Mothering Sunday, but the Netherlands are celebrating it soon, so I have made my Mum a card that I will send to when she needs a postal hug!!

I love this image and coloured in distress inks, cut her out using my nesties and distressed it. I love these MME papers even though they are pink!!! I have used flower soft for the flowers in the basket and added some stickles to her dress. I used cream cardstock as matting paper and embossed and distressed som Coredinations paper. I used white mulberry flowers and added little pink roses to the centre and then glimmer misted them. I used organza ribbon and added a little heart charm and three pearls. I have left the sentiment off as I will put an appropriate one on when I send it.
Do join in and take a look at the other DT creations.

I don't normally do this with Design Team cards, but as I used a tall card and I am entering it for this week' Stamp with Fun challenge, and I used the sketch from the Creative Inspirations Challenge, which I rotated. As it is a card for my Mum it also qualifies for this week's Our Creative Corner challenge.

Tilda with basket

The week is almost over (thank goodness!!) and hopefully we will have a quiet weekend with lots of crafting time!
I havemanaged to get a card made today in between all the running around and being out we have done today!
I have combined the CCT challenge (get Edgy), the Friday Sketcher sketch and the Just Magnolia challenge (pink and green and come up with this ...
I got this stamp from Vicky for my birthday last year and I haven't inked her up for ages. I have to confess I have had a clear out of some of my neglected Tildas ... better they go to a good home than live at the bottom of my stamp box, but I loved this one so much that I couldn't part with her.
I stamped Tilda and then masked her and added the goblin grass before colouring her in distress inks. I stickled her wings and glossed her boots. The edges of the image are distressed and inked and the stripy dp is torn (gulp its almost too gorgeous to tear!). I used pale pink cardstock for the matting and punched swirls. As this is going to be a birthday card for a crafty friend (who will aprreciate their beauty and cost LOL!!) I glimmer misted hydragena flowers and added spacers to the layered ones.
Here's a close up of Tilda, she is gorgeous and I need to use her more!
My Gorguss girls set 2 arrived today so I am going to spend the evening ez mounting and stamping them.

Cuppa anyone?

I love a cuppa and so this Leanne Ellis is right up my street. I have coloured her for this week's CCT which is food and drink, and LOTV bright and cheerful.
I coloured her in my fave media at the moment and resisted the urge to distress the background. I just ran the ink pad round tthe edges as I didn't want to layer her too much. I love these MME papers, but have yet to use them. I thought the flowers would match Annie's. I cut Annie and the backing layers out using my nesties, added the ribbon, and a papermania brad flower. Decided not to do anything else as its busy enough!!

Stamp(s): Sugar Nellie Cup of Tea
Colouring Media: Distress inks
Papers: MME Magnolia; cardstock
Embellishments: ribbon from stash, Papermania flower brad.
