The first card is for the Papertake Weekly and Truly Scrumptious challenges. I hardly ever use downloaded paper even though a fair amount of our hard drive is 'cluttered' with it!!! So i have used downloaded paper for this sketch.
I coloured Tilda in watercolours and distressed the background. I matted her onto some of the dp, and matted the patterned dp as well. I punched flowers and added gems to their centres, and cut a triangle for the photo corner 9a bit lazy there!! I was thinking about adding ribbon, but actually like it like this so I left it at that.My second card is for the WOJ challenge which is another card by Heather ... I am not sure about thisone ... but hubby and Ellie say its great, so who am I to think hmmmm?!
I coloured Willow with a mix of promarkers and my new copics and then cut her out using my nesties. I layered the backgrounds at an angle to mirror the angles matt behind the image. I used ribbon and brads for the detail on the middle band and punched the scalloped edge using my fiskars threading water punch. I added a copule of swirl stamps and some flowers and a swirl.Still not sure about this one!!

I watercoloured my image using distress inks. I orginally used Walnut stain for the brown but didn't like the look, so the browns in the image are lighter than those in the dp. I cut her out using my nesties and inked the edges of the blue cardstock. I chose co-ordinating floral dp and matted some of them onto co-orinating cardstock. I added blue organza ribbon and punched some flowers and a swirl. I inked the flower edges and added pearls to the centres of them..jpg)
Isn't it such a cute stamp? Vicky got it for me for Christmas and I hadn't inked it up as I wasn't sure when I was going to use it. However I have a freind who is a bit of a diary writer so its going to her with some bits and pieces.
This is my interpretation:
I focused on the lime and blue colours and the flowers in the photo. I watercoloured the image and layered it using my nesties. I chose some floral dp to tie in with the wallpaper in the photo and the pink relpicates the pink flowers. I punched some flowers and a swirl and added pearls and a butterfly charm. Its quite pastelly for me!!

I have to confess having had 2 goes at this., as I did the first and was a little unsure about it...but hubby loves it.
I used this Pollycraft image Daydreamer and the sentiment from the same range, which are new to my collection. I coloured her in promarkers and matted her onto green cardstock, using my nestie labels to cut her and the matt out. The papers are from my very neglected DCWV adhesive stack. I punched the flowers using another neglected punch, added gems and some wire (again very neglected!!). I am not sure what I am not keen on ... it could be the dp.
I am much happier with this. I have skewed the elements in the sketch for this one. I watercoloured the image and cut her out using my nesties. The matt is the same size and placed at an angle. The dp is MME Laundry line and is all shiny new and so strokable ... I am amazed I actually cut into it!! The sentiment is from my Swirls plate and saw its 1st inking. I added flowers, and the ickle charm which I won as part of Camilla's blog candy.
I coloured my image and distressed her, I didn't matt her onto any other paper. I ran my new Impressionabilities plate (Butterflies) through my Cuttlebug with a shim to emboss the pink cardstock. I punched a couple of ribon slots to thread the ribbon through, and punched and distressed pink and white flowers and swirls. Organza knots, tattered rose glimmer mist and pink gems finish it off.
I watercoloured the image using just 4 colours and then distressed it. All the papers are distressed in blue ink. I added some organza ribbon, but no bow this time. I punched some flowers and inked their edges. I added gems to the centres of he flowers. The top three flowers are arranged with some ash leaves. I tied some white organza ribbon round some of the blue I had used and fastened it behind the bottom flower. Finally I added a sentiment stamped in the blue I distressed the papers with.
I watercoloured my Gorjuss girl and cut her out. I used my nesties to cut out the egg, and added adhesive gems and ribbon so it looked like an Easter Egg. I sat the Gorguss one on the ribbon (hubby thinks she is looking very possessive about all that chocolate!!) I used my Fiskars Threading water punch to do the scalloped edge and borrowed Ellie's egg punch to punch the eggs, and added gems to them. Some doodling, a bow and some text finished it off.
When you open it there is another aperature ... 
I used some more of the blossom branches to cover the aperature.
I am really pleased with it - still think it needs some ribbon LOL!!
I was given this large flower as part of a RAK, and have struggled to use it as it is quite big!! I cut the bear out using my nesties and watercoloured him. The edge is distress in plum ink. I have kept it all quite simple (I am loving doing more simple cards at the mo, saves on stash and is much quicker to do!!), and just used a copulpe of papers. I love how the brown organza has changed colour slightly over that pink spotty paper.
