Visible Image DT post

Today I am showing you a Christmas card I made using the gorgeous large snowflake  from Visible Image Stamps.

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie

I love this snowflake, it is so intricate and delicate.  I stamped it onto navy cardstock using versamark ink and then added sticky embossing powder and heat set it.  The sticky embossing powder is fab as it allows you to add glitters to stamps without using  glue pen.  I used some gorgeous chunky mixed silver glitter from Stampendous.  I repeated the process to create the central snowflake, which i matted onto white cardstock.  Finally I stamped the Miracle of Christmas sentiment in distress ink and added it.

Visible Image Christmas Collage

I thought I had  better make a start on my Christmas cards - and as I have to make quite a few I wanted a simple design.   I stamped the Christmas Collage from Visible  Image onto white cardstock.  The tree is recessed, so I used my quickie glue pen and glamour dust to create the frosty look.  I also glamour dusted the snowflake.  I simply added gingham ribbon and a die cut snowflake with a bit of bling on it.

Helen and Mark from Visible Image are on a long deserved holiday after a hectic two months of creating stamps for Create and Craft - you can still order your stamps -they just won't get process until the week beginning 5th August.

Rockpooling

I simply adore the Hamish and Maggie stamps from Sugar Nellie, sadly most of them are no longer available.  How cute do these two look, searching through the rockpools - that will be us in 4 weeks time :).  I stamped the image directly onto the card blank and then colourd it using my pens.  I created a stippled background, stamped the sentiment and added some twine and a button - very clean and simple.

Time for a little bit of gossip ...

I have had this cute Sugar Nellie fairy for a while, but with everything else that is going on I haven't inked her up until today.  I coloured her using my pens and then simply embossed some white cardstock and matted the image and cardstock up.  I haven't used this diamond stitch pattern embossing folder for ages - love it  I added some gingham ribbon and bow, and the cute ickle tag sentiments.  Finally pearls were added to the tags.

And don't forget ...

That Craft Place challenge

Its Sunday and that means it's time for a That Craft Place challenge and the theme this week is ibbon and lace.

Something a little different from me again - I made a lace flower by simply stitching along the edge of lace and then gathering it into a circle and fadtening it off.  I used a section of the rose ribbon trim that lisa sells, cut it off and sprayed it with fired brick distress ink to stain it.  Having stitched it onto the lace I added a brooch pin to the back and then fastened it on a piace of flet so it can be easily removed to wear.  Finally some pearls.

Crafty Sentiments Challenge

Its time for another Crafty Sentiments challenge, and the theme this week is red, white and blue.

Annabel Sail with me seemed a perfect choice as red, white and blue are very nautical colours.  I coloured her using my pens and then simply matted her up onto navy and red cardstock.  I doodled round some white cardstock, and added some wide red ribbon and navy flat backed pearls.

Crafty Sentiments Harriet

Crafty Sentiments has a new digi stamp - Harriet ...

How cute and adorable is Harriet???!!!  She is Crafty Sentiments latest digi image, and  I just had to colour her up.  I wanted to do a card that really showed her off, so I printed her out with plenty of space around her and created this CAS card.  Having coloured her I simply stamped the sentiment from Visible Image, and faux stitched round her.  I punched the butterflies out and added pearls to their centres.

Today I am showing you a new home card I made using a selection of stamps from Visible Image Stamps.

My best friend's beautiful daughter has moved into a new home and got herself a cute little kitten, so I wanted a cat themed new home card. I stamped the cat from the good luck cat set in versafine and added the words from the More than Words sets.
