Visible Image DT card

Today I am showing you a tag I have made using stamps from Visible Image Stamps.

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie

I created the background of the tag using distress inks, slightly misting them and then swiping my tag through.  I then stamped over the tag using the ripped fishnet background, and the grunge flourish stamp.  I stamped the corset onto card and then coloured it using my copics. I popped it onto 3d foam pads for a bit of dimension. Finally I inked up some card, and stamped the Be Unique sentiment from the Sewing Room stamp set.

Hobbycutz challenge

Its  time for  Hobbycutz challenge

The theme for this fortnight's challenge is Masculine or Father's Day.
We don't really celebrate Father's Day, but my Dad's birthday is in June and he likes a bit of rally racing, so this seemed perfect fo him.  The car is a lasercut from Hobbycutz, and I simply created the background using a grunge check background and tyre marks stamps.  I added some TH film strip as Dad loves to photograph the cars as they come past his house, and stamped the sentiment.

That Craft Place challenge

Its Sunday and that means it's time for a That Craft Place challenge and the theme this week is Wedding.

I made a paper bag album to give as a gift.  I created a button bouquet on the front using lots of buttons, lace, seam bindung and pearls.  I wired the layers of buttons together to create 'flowers' and then used silicon glue to stick them together.
Inside I decorated the first and last double page eaclty the same, cuting the patterned shape from the design paper and creating a pocket for the journalling tag.    Lots of flowers, pearls and seam binding, but plaenty of space to add photos or memories.

In the centre I used this gorgeous Visible image sentiment, very romantic, and this beautiful Kraftin Kimmie stamp - they do look elegant.  I cut die cut corners and added flwoers, seam binding, pearls and pearl stems.
And the last page.

Visible Image - Isabella

Today I am showing you Isabella from Visible Image Stamps.

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie

I adore this image, I just love the look on her face, lost in love, well I hope its love and not a broken heart!!  Having coloured her in using my pens I fussy cut her out due to a clumsy cat walking across the cardstock!!  Tom is not as careful round my crafting stuff as Miffy was - but hew will learn!!!  Anyway having cut her out I popped her onto 3d foam pads for a bit of dimension.  The dp is MME Pris and Co and the circle is also on 3d foam pads for dimension.  The sentiment is from Visible Image's Imagine, Dream, Inspire set and I popped it under the circle.  I added some lace, ribbon, punched butterflies, pearls and a button on the centre of the bow.

Visible Images - Max

I have some really exciting news - I am now part of Visible Image Stamps design team :)  Mark designs
some fantastic clear polymer stamps, including backgrounds, and they stamp up really crisp images.

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie

 So here is Max ...

I thought I would make a tag for a change, and a boy/grungy one!  I coloured Max in using my pens and then cut him out.  I stamped the metal plate background over the whole tag - as the stamp is clear acrylic it is easy to line up to get a repeating pattern.  The tag was distressed and inked round with black soot distress ink.  I die cut the clock and fence using grunge paper, and then coloured them using black soot and silver alchol ink.  The metal tag was embossed and covered with the same alcohol ink, and gently sanded.  I added some stickers to it and dabbed black soot distress ink over it.  Finally the seam binding was distressed with black soot and the tag tied through it.

I am loving these Visible Image stamps - and Molly is so like my younger daughter!!  Most of her Barbie dolls are headless!!!  I coloured her using my pens and then created a stippled background.  I went for quite muted papers and backed them onto dark cardstock.  I die cut the flowers and attached brads to their centres.  I added some lace and thin satin ribon, and a bow, charm and button.  Finally a swirl and the sentiment which I stamped directly onto the dp.
