Not a Christmas Card!!

I have combined the Secret Crafter sketch with the Papertake Weekly recipe and the Spoonfull of Sugar challenge to make a thank you card. And its PINK!!!
I have made this to go with the box of chocs my very close friend earned looking after Beth and the cat when Ellie went into hospital.

I used a pad of paper I haven't touched for ages, Papermania's Retro Floral, and a lovely FF bear which I have finally had the courage to colour in. I added a green ribbon, some brads from my stash and the sentiment is a Penny Black.

I have started doing less fussy cards again as I noticed at a recent craft fair it was my less fussy ones, and dare I say it, those without stamped images (EEK!!) that sold the best. Also my freind is about as fussy as a pair of doc martens!!

Hi Cathy
That's so weird I have noticed that too - people seem to like the stickers and peel offs and all the lovely layers and hand painted images get left!
Love this design by the way!

Wow it's gorgeous Cathy and if your friend doesn't like it then she must be very fussy lol! I know what you mean about the cards, I make some for my OH's mum and her friend and they always ask for decoupage cards, very simple with just a bit of matting and layering! They also like single images like ones from Joanna Sheen CDs, they don't seem to go for cute and cuddly lol!!
Love Becky xx
