A couple of magnolia cards

I am getting back into the swing of crafting :) and am loving my Tildas at the mo.
I made this card last night for the just Magnolia challenge, which is a fab sketch by Bev.
I coloured Tilda with my promarkers and then gut her out using my nesties. I love this dp ... even if it is pink!!! I faux stitched the dp using white gel pen and layered up some flowers. I used lace for the scalloped element of the sketch. No other embellies - still in to minimal!

The second card I have made for this week's Sketch Saturday.

Again my image is coloured using a mix of promarkers and copics - the bee bled a bit, but hubby thinks it makes it look more that the fuzzy bumble bees we get in the garden! As the image is quite tall I rotated the stretched the sketch a bit. I haven't put a sentiment on ... I don't tend to put sentiments onto until I know what I am going to use the card for.

Off out now to get Ellie a new inflatable bed - not sure who popped it ... cat or child ... but her last one is unrepairable!!

Recipe:
Stamp(s): Magnolia Lapland Tilda; Tilda with bee
Colouring Media: Promarkers and copics
Papers: Papermaina Blueberry Hill; Basic Grey Two Scoops
Embellishments: flowers, lace, ribbon and flower brad from stash
