I have been playing quite a lot with my promarkers and distress inks over the last week, but can't decide which I like the best. I love the effect of watercoloured images, but promarkers are so bold and quick.
So I have done a comparison using one of my Sarah Kay stamps - the one on the left has been coloured with distress inks and the one on the right promarkers. Which do you think is better/more effective?

Hmmmmm...I don't think I'm going to help you much either...I think they both look fab! I think it will depend what kind of look you're going for, and what papers you're going to use really...
Good to see you've been having fun with our new toys!

They are both beautifully coloured and beautiful in their own way (sorry to sit on the fence) but they both have a place depending on the overall look of your finished card. Sue :o)
I like both and would decide which to use by the papers you put with the image. If you are using distressed looking papers then go with the distress inks and if you are using bold modern style papers then go with the markers?
Just a suggestion.

I prefer the pro markers as they are darker and show up better. I have to agree with the other commenters that it would all depend on the paper and the look you want on the card.
They are both great - I think it is a matter of personal preference and style of the papers/card. Personally my favourite is the distress inks, just because I love the subtlety of the shading.
