WOYWW

Well not much ... my week off paled into sickness starting with the girls and ending in me!!  We went to Scotland, I had a fab time at the SECC (spent a bob or two!!) and then came home feeling pants, the train journey was far to long and uncomfortable.  Took the ipad and hubby's pooter and dongle .. neither wanted to connect ot the internet!!  Tyical .. or trying to tell us something lOL!

Slowly getting back into crafting .. but not much to show this week ...
Reasonably clear desk, just a basket of ribbons to put away ... but look at hubby's space!!  It should be binned, so messy!!!!!

My desk is so tidy as I spent the evening helping Beth make her homework project .. a Diva lamp!!  Out of a paper cup!

We have to collage the outside of a paper cup and then make a flame ... not as far as the flame yet!  But not too bad, considering Beth talks ... and I mean talks!  Paper stuck to her fingers she was concentrating so much on talking rather than sticking LOL!!  We have until Monday to get it finished, and it will take that long!!

Well I am off to persue (nosy at) the crafting world's desks, courtesy of the wonderful Julia, anyone joining me???

Cathy, fantastic place to work at! I wish I had a little corner for my hooby too, but my appartment is so small that I can create at the kitchen's table only..
Hugs. Hlora. xx

Very lovely place to work! I just transferred all my things to our bedroom on this small office table with 2 drawers and used 1 of the plastic drawers for my papers. My sister-in-law just came and she'll be using the other room. :) have a great day!

I don't think even your DH space classes as messy in the big scheme of things. Off to the NEC tomorrow (alas on a limited budget).......

I'm joining you! EventuallY! My word, your DH's space isn't untidy..gracious you have him trained well!! Love the Diva Cup - how sweet, and the idea of crafting a flame....my DD is the opposite - goes quiet and sticks her tongue out when concentrating!

Sorry you haven't been well but hope the spend took of some of the edge of your illness - we need to see what you bought though.
Why does the word 'dongle' always make me smile :-))

How generous of you sharing your space with your husband, lol! Although he's not very untidy either. Your daughter sounds really funny!

Sorry to hear you caught something nasty whilst at the SECC but it sounds as though, like me, you had a spending good time there. I'd say your husband's desk isn't too bad until compared with your spotless one. Love your daughter's homework - I don't remember homework being that much fun when I was a child :) Elizabeth x #59

A very tidy space, all ready for action. Cute little lamp, I'd not heard of those.

There is no room, and I mean NO room in my craftroom for my DH! He is banned, all he has to do, is tell me everything I make is brilliant. He prefers watching telly anyway, thank goodness!
Love lamp you got going there.
Happy WOYWW
