Desk takeover!!!

Its Wednesday and time to show off your craft mess ... sorry I meant space over at Julia's amazing blog - yep its Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday ...

Well I have had a bit of a desk take over ...
This Ellie, my older daughter Ellie's BFF!!!  The girlswere making charms for their school bags - so all my fab charms have been used!!
And here is my Ellie using plyers to help open and attach the rings.
The concentration was amazing!  Kept them quiet for nearly an hour!
And here are the chamrs finished - Ellie took the photo to take to Beavers for their creativity badge.

So I spent the evening tidying up the charms, jump rings from all over the place and rounding up all the little silver bells that Ellie split over the floor!!  Today I am going to have a crafty couple of hours to catch up with missing out last night!

It's always a delight to see kids take over the craft desk! I'm thinking of having a kid's painting session next month for my kiddy friends! Patsy

You can never start too young I say...but I also say get your own crafting space!!! Ha ha - how cute to see two little workers creating fab charms. They definitely deserve their badges - weren't they working for their tidy up badges Cathy? Have a fun week and Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 102

My little girl grew up surrounded by beads, colors, papers and crafty things and it was so worth it to spend all that time with her making things! Sweet little one here. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #36

Obviously a very talented little girl. I am always amazed at just how much yje little ones take in just by sitting and 'working' with us. My grandie number2, Hannah, is 7 and would not dream of sticking any picture in her school books without matting them. She was never told to do that, just learnt from watching grandma.
Happy WOYWW!

You can feel the concentration can't you! such a ice thing that you let them just get on with it without pulling out all the 'best' charms! They made a great job of them, enjoy your post-takeover takeover!!

SUPER cute, and what a great thing for Ellie to be making something side by side with mom--this gives children such a great sense of accomplishment, to really make something!

Happy WOYWW to you!

That's nice of you to share. I am glad my space is big enough that my kids have their own space! They still ask for my stuff and I am not a good sharer! LOL 137# Tamika
