The theme over at Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge this week is Lavender and Lace.
So here we have Summer Tilda with a bow standing amongst the lavender. I watercoloured Tilda in lilacs and greens, and mounted her on foam pads to add depth. The bunches of lavender were made using a lavender sprig stamp I have - I just stamped it several times to make bunches. The lavender background is embossed. The lace is from stash.
My SBS sister Nic has set a challenge using a photgraph . She says "I challenge each of you to create a card or papercrafting project using colors inspired from this picture". So I am using this ATC for the challenge.

I have made 3 ATCs. Maggie is splashing through the spring showers. I have used gloss on her wellies and umbrella to show the wet (doesn't really show up). For summer I have used my Sarah Kay Picnic of daisies and Papermania papers. I have put a few gems on. For Winter Maggie is out in the snow at night. I have used some words that I got as a freebie. The paper is from DCWV glitter mat stack.
The image is Picking Apples (Sweet Ebony) and I have watercoloured her in brown s and tones of orange. Hopefully it has created an autumnal feel. I have matted her onto papers by K and Ko and Papermania. The flower, brad and ribbons are from stash, as are the peel off words. By the way the flower turned in the scanner - the words should be straight!! I have faux stitched round the papers using a brown marker for a change.
The papers are from K and Co and I have used cream cardstock. I love the delicate scrolling and swirling pattern in the paper and thought it would work well on a baby card. Tilda is matted onto pearlised blue card, and then cream. The ribbon is from my stash and the yellow flower is by Making Memories.

I have used my Cuttlebug embossing folders to pattern these papers, using the Swiss Dots and D'vine Scrolls folders. The cardstock in pastel blue and yellow is from Papermania. The organza yellow ribbon is from stash, as are the three yellow ducks. The image is, of course, Penny Black, which I have watercoloured and matted off centre onto the yellow. I have used a simple silver peel off for the greeting.
