Amelia and Vintage Boutique

I love all things Sugar Nellie .. .especially the Simply Sassy range ... and Amelia is my current favourite ... got soooo manny ideas of what to do with this girl!!

I coloured her in using my promarkers, once in warm greys and the other in reds and blues.  I cut sections of the coloured image out using my nesties and covered chippie squares.  All the dp (Prima) and imags have been distressed with my TH tool and ink.  I added strips of TH tissue tape that I distressed with ink, and a layered flower.  Finally a pearl pin with some cogs threaded onto it and some flat backed pearls.

Now I have to admit to really struggling colouring Vintage Boutique ... that skirt defeats me every time!!  So I tried colouring using my pencils ... still not very happy with it!! The dp is DCWV Linen Closet, and I added some pearl spray, pearls and binding.  I followed the scrunched flower tutorial over at the Simply Sassy blog to make my flower ... I used my TH Tattered Florals to cut the flowers out in Kraft, and then stamped a text stamp all over them and inked the edges.  I spritzed them and scrunched them, before leeaving them to dry ... that took a while!!  The I unfolded the petals and spritzed with gold glimmer mist ... and left to dry again!!!
