That Craft Place challenge

Its Sunday and that means it's time for a That Craft Place challenge and the theme this week is stitching.

I used this large Hero Arts collage stamp and stamped it in versafine sepia ink before embossing it with clear embossing powder.  I used my Spellbinders circle nestibilities to create circles in some cardstock.  I used the cardstock and distress ink to create this spotlights of colour over the stamp.  The embossing resists the ink so you keep the orginal colour.  Finally I matted it up onto kraft and black cardstock and stitched it with my sewing machine.

Visible Image DT post

Today I am showing you a Christmas card I made using the gorgeous large snowflake  from Visible Image Stamps.

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie

I love this snowflake, it is so intricate and delicate.  I stamped it onto navy cardstock using versamark ink and then added sticky embossing powder and heat set it.  The sticky embossing powder is fab as it allows you to add glitters to stamps without using  glue pen.  I used some gorgeous chunky mixed silver glitter from Stampendous.  I repeated the process to create the central snowflake, which i matted onto white cardstock.  Finally I stamped the Miracle of Christmas sentiment in distress ink and added it.

Visible image DT post

Today I am showing you a Christmas card I have made using the Sleigh Silhouette and the Tree Trio from Visible Image Stamps.

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie

I am still feeling in the mood to make Christmas cards so here is a scene I created using the sleigh silhouette and the tree trio.  I created the background using a circle mask and distress inks.  I spritzed the card with glamour mist and  let it dry -the glamour mist gives it a pearlised effect.  Once it was dry I stamped the Sleigh Silhouette across the moon, just cuving the stamp a wee bit on my block.  I then stamped and ghost stamped the trees to created the background.

And for more inspiration don't forget to check out the Visible Image's facebook page, and the Visible Image blog where we have a monthly challenge.  This month's theme is Anything Goes with Visible image.  Remember you MUST use a Visible image stamp.
