Stars and Stripe Oakley

Its taken a couple of days to do this card ... I have really lacked inspiration. I needed to make a card for yet another of Ellie's pre-school friends whose birthday is next week and she is very taken with him, holding hands etc ... so it needed to be perfect in her eyes, which is a very different prfect to mine.
Anyway I have finally finished it and she is happy with it ... and it combined 3 challenges (always a good thing!):
WOJ - stars and stripes
CCT - Mirror Mirror (shiny on your card), the wire and beads are shiny
Friday Sketcher - I used this week's sketch, with a little resizing
I stamped Oakley and masked him so I could add the steps, and then watercoloured the image. I have kept the papers bright and simple, using red cardstock for matting. I replaced the ribbon and bow wih paper and a star, and the flower with a star, all cut out using my nesties (what would we do without them!). I stamped the sentiment and matted it and the curled the wire and threaded some of Ellie's beads on to it. Perfect for a four year old?!
