Here is another of January's amazing releases from
InStyle Stamps. Take a look at
Fairy Tales! A brand new rubber stamp set with six fairy tale inspired images. Snow White, Rapunzel, Alice, Sleeping Beauty, Thumbelina, And Red Riding Hood - they are all in there in amazing detail, just waiting for you to create with them!
Fairy Tales will retail for $21.95, and will be available for purchase in the store just after CHA.
Here are a couple of samples I made ...
I could resist having a go at making tower for Rapunzel ... and once I started I got a little carried away!!
I will be posting a tutorial on how i made this card ... just got to get round to typing it up. I coloured Rapunzel in using my pens and trimmed the image to create the window. I used Basic Grey's Marjolaine and cut vines and decorative bits out using Marianne Creatible dies. The flowers are from Prima. I used tiny green adhesive pearls for the centres of the flowers. More details will be on my tutorial post and you will see all the layers more clearly.
Pens used: ivory, blush, sunkissed pink, gold, mustard, yellow, primrose, warm grey1-5, B45, B93, B00
Here is a different view to show the depth of the card ...
I am entering this card into the
Allsorts challenge - Fancy Folds, and
Basic Grey 's Dots and Spots challenge.
One of the other images is Snow White ...
I coloured her in using my pens and used my nesties to cut her out. The edges of the image are inked in red ink. The dp is Basic Grey Curio, and I made an easel card. I used some red satin ribbon, and a huge prima flower layered with a spacer and pearl brad. I added a heart charm. For the base I followed the layout and used a pearl brad to stop it slipping.
Pens: ivory, blush, sunkissed pink, cool grey 5,4,3,1, cyan, sky blue, artic blue, gold, canary yellow, lemon, primrose, meadow green, apple, crimson, ruby
And don't forget January's
InStyle Stamps Sketch challenge. Here is the sketch ...
You'll notice some differences with our challenges this year. Each one has a specific keyword, so that you can upload to online galleries. We encourage to share your projects on your blog, and over on Paper Craft Planet - we have a fun group over there and will be starting a customer gallery. Each month we'll draw a random winner who will receive a litle gift from us, just for having a project in there! So always use the challenge keyword, and "instylestamps" (no quotation marks) when you upload at Paper Craft Planet!
And here is a card I made using the sketch and Thumbelina:
Thumbelina is just so precious nestled in those leaves (or flowers!). I coloured her using promarkers and copic pens. The edge of the image is distressed using thyme ink. The dp is Basic Grey's Marjolane and i added a couple of satin ribbons from my stash, and some card candy.
Pens used: ivory, blush, sunkissed pink, gold, mustard., primrose, meadow grren, apple, YG03, G21, B45, B93, B00
