Sweet n Sassy Digi Challenge

I am proud to say I have been asked to join the Sweet n Sassy Digi Challenge DT and this is my first challenge for them.
Grab our badge!

The theme is "favourite holiday", and I have chosen Easter.  I love Easter - we always spend it at my Mum an Dad's and there are usually lots of lambs to feed and play with, as well as the Easter Egg Hunt, a bus rally for the hubby and a bit of a rest for me LOL!!

I used a Cocoa Mouse stamp, Egg-cited Cocoa and coloured him with my promarkers.  The dp is Basic Grey digi paper and I added some ribbon, layered mulberry flowers, and flat pearls.  I think Cocoa looks so sweet popping out of this Easter egg!!

And some Eater pics ...
The girls bottle feeding the orphan lambs ...
Lambs ...
 The egg hunt ...
 and another one found!

Hope you find the time to join in, you need to use a digi image, and it would be great if you could use a Sweet n Sassy digi ... you can found them here ;)

Its Crafting Time DT post

This week's theme is embossing folders, and the Its Crafting Time store has a great selection of embossing folders, including Tim Holtz texture fades, which I used for this card.

I used coredinations cardstock from the nostalgia and whitewashed ranges, and embossed them using Alterations Texture Fades Embossing Folders 2PK - Clock and Steampunk Set by Tim Holtz and Alterations Texture Fades Embossing Folders Rays and Retro Circles.  The edges of the cardstock have been distressed using Walnut Stain distress ink and a paper distresser.  I added some navy blue organza ribbon and a stamped image, stamped in blue memento ink.

Sugar Bowl challenge

Its time for another Sugar Bowl challenge and Maria has created the sketch, with the optional theme of swirls and scrolls.

I used Rosie, who i confess to being one of my favourite SN's of all time, and coloured her with my promarkers and flex markers. The image and dp have been distressed using my TH distressing tool. The dp is a mix of Basic Grey and pink petticoat, and I added rolled roses, pearls and some lace.  The swirl is from a Memory Box die.

One lucky winner of this challenge will have their choice of 4 stamps (or 6 stamps, if we reach 100+ entries) either from the new release or any stamps from the Sugar Nellie range at

Crafting Time DT - blue

Blue is this week's theme ...

I created the blue evening/night background using tumbled glass, broken china, faded jeans and chipped sapphire distress inks.  The hills and moon were created by using paper masks while distressing.  I stamped the balloon and sentiment from the Grand Tour III stamp set from IndigoBlu.  Finally I misted over the card using Perfect Pearls mixed in water, to create a shimmery look.
