Just Cute bears Challenge 27

This week's challenge is

Bear Necessities.

For this challenge we want to see your clean and simple cards.

We are sponsored by the lovely Paula from Pollycrafts
and she offering 2 lovely prizes from her latest Cuthbert and Kiki range,
so we will have 2 winners next week

Here is my card:
I have no idea who the bear is ... a friend stamped some for me ages ago! I coloured it using my pens and simply matted it on to cardstock and a piece of dp (again unknown!)
Sorry its a bit brief ... this is scheduled as we are away at Samantha's wedding, so I am running round like a bit of a headless chicken working, cleaning, packing, buying the girls' shoes etc!!

Just Cute Bears week #23

This week we have an open theme so you can interpret it as you want. Annie is offering a fabulous prize for one lucky person (I want it!!).

I love this cute LOTV bear and having coloured him with my pens, I paired him with this fab Basic Grey Mellow paper. I punched a butterfly, added a flower and some fibres.

As the weather is glorious at the moment I have been crafting less and been out in the garden more ... hopefully I'll get to spend some time crafting this afternoo, and I can't wait to see your bear creations.

Here Comes Summer

I coloured the image using my pens and matted it onto blue cardstock. The papers are a freebie pad of MME Pretty Please ... just a few bits left now! I layered up some flowers and added some organza ribbon and a bow.

Just Cute bears Challenge 20

This week's challenge is

Fathers Day

Now we don't do Father's Day here and never have dne, but as my Dad's birthday is 16th June, it always falls around that time, so this is his birthday card.
While I had my silicon glue and decoupage out last week I thought I might as well ... so here is another cheat card!! This is my Dad, except he needs a laptop rather than a cup of tea!!!! The papers are from the same decoupage pack, as is the greeting. I added some brads and voila!!

Just Cute Bears Challenge 19

This week's challenge is a thank you card and we are again spomsored by the lovely Kim at Cuddly Buddly Crafts and this is the cutie on offer this week.

As I was short of time I thought I would cheat and go for a Forever friends Decoupage bear ... they take as long to layer up as colouring an image does, so not a lot of time saved there LOL!! The papers are FF Pink Parfait and the sentiment stamp is Penny Black.

The DT have made some amazing creations again this week, so do pop over to their blogs.

Just Cute Bears Challenge 15

Wow I can't believe we are upto week 15 already!
This week's challenge is Buttons and Bows, and we are again sponsored by Cuddly Buddly. We also have a new fab Guest Designer, Bev.

I watercoloured this cute Penny Black bear and distressed the edges. The papers are Basic Grey Wisteria, and the clear buttons and ribbon is from my stash. I blame my lovely friend Samantha for my slight (only slight mind) obsession with clear button!

We are at my parents for the weekend, so might be needing a boat if it rains alot!!

Just Cute Bears Challenge #13

One for the boys

We are again sponsored by Cuddly Buddly and they have this cute stamp up for grabs.

Now masculine cards can be a bit of a challenge ... particularly using bears!! I decided to go for something a bit different for me.
I have, but had yet to use, a fab digi kit from Cuddly Buddly. I have lots of digi stuff, just never think to use it! I printed off a couple of the papers, the bear and some of the accessories and after a bit of cutting and matting ... voila!

I do think its a bit cheating as no colouring involved, but great for those cards you need quickly!

This week's challenge is Flowers and we have this gorgeous stamp up for grabs, courtesy of Cuddly Buddly.

My lovely DT buddy Jane sent me this image and I just had to use it (NEED this one too!!)
I coloured it using my pens and cut it out using nesties. I have kept the layout simple and added a few flowers and flower brads, including one in her hair.

I watercoloured this cute bear, and coloured the flower yellow ... it's now a daffodil!!! The dp is matted onto yellow cardstock, and I added green organza and yellow satin ribbon. A layered flower and some green pearls to finish.

Just Cute Bears #10

This week's challenge is
Easter

and we are sponsored by Cuddly Buddly
who are offering this fab prize.

I really struggled with this challegne as I don't really do Easter cards, and have no Easter bear based images. My lovely crafting and DT buddy Lols helped out and sent me this image. I coloured the image using my pens and matted it onto yellow cardstock. The papers are from last year, and I am running out of them, but I think they are great for spring /Easter cards. I added some broad organza ribbon and some yellow ribbon and a bow. To make it look Eastery I added some teeny eggs from a craft set Ellie has (shush don't tell her!) and a peel off.

Do take a look at the DT's fab Easter creations.

Just Cute Bears #9

This week's challenge is a sketch by our lovely Jane.

We have a fab prize up for grabs again this week, donated by Cuddly Buddly Crafts.

I coloured in this fab image and matted it onto plain dp. I added pink gems to the image and ribbon ... no sentiment as I am not sure what I am going to use this for. I layered up a flower and added some swirls with gems on them.
Do take a peek at the other DT creations.

Just Cute Bears Challenge 8

Wow we are upto our 8th challenge and I can't believe how many cute bears I have seen in recent weeks.
This week's challenge is
All White
(but you can colour your image!!)

and we are sponsored by Cuddly Buddly and they are offering someone this fab prize!

Now all white is a bit of challenge, especially to a girl who LOVES her patterned papers.

I water coloured this FF bear in ... well I couldn't leave her white could I!!! I used my deckled nesties to cut her out and then create the embossed mat for her. The cardstock is embossed using divine swirls and swiss dots folders, and I used my scorpal to score 2 lines between the embossing. I added some white raffia and voila ... very white!!

Do take a look at the other DT members stunning white creations.

And to all the mum's out there ...

Happy Mother's Day.
We are going to have a quiet day as poor Beth has caught Ellie's tummy bug and spent last night being sick ... on the plus side I have been given 4 HM's for Mother's day so I will have time to play with them!!!!

Just Cute Bears Challenge week 7

This week's challenge is to make a Mother's Day card. We are sponsored by Cuddly Buddly Crafts and they are offering this fab prize to one lucky person.

I made an easel card using this gorgeous bear stamp. I watercoloured the image and matted it using my nesties. The papers are some very neglected Papermania ones .. I really do need to use up what I have so I have room for more! I used raffia and cut some flowers out of the dp to make the flowers.
Here's a closer look at the standy up bit (Beth's terminology not mine!!)
Just hope Mum likes it ... it might just be a bit bright and busy for her!!!

Just Cute Bears Challenge #6

This week's Just Cute bears challenge is
Mint and brown.

We are sponsored by Cuddly Buddly and you have the chance of winning this ...

Now I have to admit to finding this challenge .. well challenging .. mint isn't a colour I do!!
I watercoloured the image and matted it onto brown cardstock. I matted the papers onto brown cardstock, added the greeting and 5 brads ... very much a bloke's card!! I admit it is more green than mint, but some of the papers look minty!!

Do check out the other DT creations and join in.

Just Cute Bears Challenge #5

Thank you to everyone who entered the challenge last week ... what great interpretations of Jane's sketch.
This week our theme is ...
Lilac
and you have the chance to win this gorgeous stamp from Cuddly Buddly.

Here's my take on lilac:
I watercoloured the image and matted it onto a scalloped nestie. I added some ribbon, 2 gorgeous flowers with gems in the centre, and some gems as a corner accent.

Do check out the other DT cards and join in yourself.

Just Cute Bears Challenge week 4

This week's challenge is a fabby sketch by my lovely blogging buddy Jane. We are sponsored again by Cuddly Buddly Crafts .

I love these papers and having got the 12x12's decided to buy the magazine that had the freebie 6x6 paper!! I watercoloured the ickle bear (and what a cutie she is) and then inked the edges. I used my nesties to layer her up. The dp is matted onto blue cardstock, and as it is a bit busy, I left the embellies to a minimum, just some flat backed pearls and a simple punched flower.

Do have a peek at the other DT members' interpretations of the sketch.
