Its time for another Sketch and Stash challenge.
We are  by Simon Says Stamps and you could win a $20 voucher to spend! Heidi has a hugh variety of products so it's worth entering!  And postage is free!!

We are also running a DT Call so if you've like to enter please put this on your entry. We will also be having a GDT member who will work with us for 2 challenges each month. Each month one of the DT will choose a GDT.
Here's the sketch...

I confess to doing a bit of rotating and skewing of the elements to get it to fit the papers I wanted to use.

I coloured my image using my pens and then cut her out using my nesties.  I used off gold ricrac for the stripes and these lovely Prima flowers and leaves.
I am entering into this week's Lili of the Valley challenge, autumn colours, and Charisma Cards challenge, Autumn colours.

The DT have done an maxing job with the sketch so please pop along to their blogs to check out their creations.

Just Cute bears Challenge #37

his week's Just Cute Bears challegne is to make a baby card, with the option of using gingham .... well I didn't make a card, I made a scrap page instead.

Its my two babies sleeping .. .when they were tiny and a couple of weeks ago ... note the cute bears in the centre photo!!!  Don't the girls' look similar when they were babies ... even my DH struggles telling them apart!
I used this cute dreaming bear by Penny Black and coloured it using my pens.  The dp is babsic grey and full of the girls favourite colours.  I added some raffia and some gingham ribbon, and some layered flowers.

Happy Tilda

My craft room has had a shock ... I have spent the morning in there crafting!!!  I was going to take Beth swimming but I had arranged for Royal Mail to redeliver a paercel of 12x12 I need for a couple of DT projects ... did they deliver it NO!!!!  I am ever so slightly cross as I really wanted to get these projects done this weekend.
So I had to make other things ...and this is one of the cards I made (you will get to see the others over the next few days!).

I coloured Tilda in using my promarkers and then cut her out.  I ran the cream circle through my d'vine swirls embossing folder.  I punched some flowers and added ribbon, buttons and pearls.  A really summery card, for a lovely warm autumn day!
It  fits these challenges:
Friday Sketcher - sketch
Just Magnolia - two by two  (I konw there are technically 5 flowers .. .but made with 2 punches!!!)
Totally Papercrafts Challenge - buttons and bows
Stamp Something - something punchy
Colour Create - pink, green, cream

InStyle Stamps Sketch Challenge

We have another sketch challenge for you ... and it is a fab sketch.

I thought for a change I would do a scrap page of my lovely girls .. and Virgina lends herself to it!!
My DH lhas a love for English Civil War battle re-enactment and we get dragged along.  To be honest the girls love it!!  So here are some pics taken at Basing House, which was a monstrous house, as big as Windsor Castle, that got literally obilierated during the English Civil War ...  don't they look the pat?!  I added Virginia coloured in the sagey colours Ellie is wearing.  The dp is Cosmo Cricket and for texture I added natural raffia and buttermilk lace.  The flower is made using the lace and a large brad.

Its a fab sketh ... so get those Instyle digis and rubbah stamps out and have a play .. you have a month to join in.

Magical Monday

It's time for another Magical Monday challenge, and this week we would like to see Back to Nature.  I interpreted this in terms of autumn colours, my favourite colours in nature.

I have tried to capture the richness and texture of autumn ... the image is coloured in organe and brown tones, and I airbrushed the background.  The dp is distressed and inked in brown ink.  I added natural coloured raffia lace, and some fabric prima flowers with twine bows in the middle.

I am entering this into this week's Passion for Promarkers Shabby Chic/vintage challenge, Simon Says Stamp's Autumn inspirational photo challenge, and A Pocketful of Posies Autumn Leaves challenge.

Finally some crafting ...

I have had a really bad cold all week and haven't felt like crafting at all ... so I haven't made a single card in a week!!!
My lovely DH is entrertaining the girls today to give me some time in my craft room, so I have made a couple of challenge cards before settling down to so serious catching up with DT work.

The first card is for these challenges:
Trully Scrumpitous - sketch and snowflakes
Totally Tilda - glitter and sparkle
Just Magnolia - Anything Goes
Basic Grey Challenge - sparkle
Totally Papercrafts challenge - the great outdoors
Allsorts - Travel/Holiday
Charisma Cardz - Christmas Crafting
Stampavie and More - more than 1 fold
Everybody-Art-Challenge - friends
I coloured my image using my promarkers and then distressed the edges and added stickles.  The dp is Basic Grey fruitcake.  I added some ribbon to fasten the fold, and cut some very sparkly snowflakes and added punched snowflakes to their centres.

This card covers these challenges -
Sketch Saturday - sketch
Wags N Whiskers - vintage/shabby chic
Passion for Promarkers - vintage/shabby chic
I love Promarkers - pearls and swirls

I coloured Snuzzle Love using my promarkers and then distressed it using antique linen,  Both the image and dp are stamped with stamps from my Stempglede Grunge set.  The sketch is rotated (accidently I have to admit to!!) and I added a pearl swirl and some pearls to the image.

Its a miserable day here so I am off to do a bit more crafting and a huge amount of blogging as I haven't done any of that either this week!!

Music Saved my Soul Saturday

Califronia Dreaming ...I love this song by the mamas and Papa ... I have to blame an auntie for my slight love of the Mamas and Papas and the Beachboys ... babysitting indoctrination!!!! She always brought her own music to listen to when she looked after us! To me it sums up autumn and winter .. but in such a postive way:)

Wags n Whiskers Challenge GDT card

I am really honoured to be guesting this week for the Wags n Whiskers Challenge.  The theme is  vintage/shabby chic.

I coloured Bear Hug using my distress inks.  I used the cracked glass technique and then rubbed vintage photo ink into the cracks.  The K and Co dp is matted on to burgundy cardstock.  I added flowers that I distressed using aged mahogany ink, and added baby's breathe and a pin made by my lovely crafty friend Jane.  The lace is aged by putting it in a pot of cold tea for a bit.

WOYWW

Its Wednesday and time for another peek at my work desk ...

OK so I have started colouring 3 images .. .and only finished 1!!!  My pens and pen charts are on display, and there is a sneaky peek of a InStyle Stamps' project, due to be posted next week ... just need to do the finishing touches!  I have had a go at decorating a candles ... so there is the finished article.  There is a LOTV image on it.  There are a couple of images stamped up onto tissue paper ready to colour and put on candles.  I loved making it and am definitely going to do lots more :)  Oh and the box of tissues.  I am nursing a horrible cold, and am constantly sniffing and sneezing!

ABC Challenge E is for

This week's ABC challenge is
E for Easel card

I am not sure I am overly happy with mine ... I made it per Ellie's instructions for a friend of her's birthday.  Not sure I would have matched those colours but who am I to argue with the will of a 5 year old?!!

Tilda is coloured using my pens and then Ellie stickled the dress, the wand, the floor, the edges, the desk, herself!!!!  We kept it very simple, using the Just Magnolia sketch for the top and a simple flower and ribon for the base.  Ellie chose the flowers and the sentiment.  She had fun learning to heat emboss ... the sentiment is heat embossed in silver ... and as we were having so much fun, she stamped the scrolls and embossed them ...not realising that they wouldn't really be seen.  But she enjoyed herself :)

We are also entering this card into this week's Totally Papercrafts A Kind of magic challenge.
