Aaarrrggghhhh!

Its Friday!!!!  This week's Totally Papercrafts theme is Lots of Layers - one I really struggle with as I'm not a lots of layers type of girl!!  We are sponsord this week by the fabulous Kenny K.

I needed to make a pirate mad 51 year old boy a birthday cardand this fab Keny K image, Pirate, fitted the bill perfectly!!  I coloured him using my promarkers.  The dp is Bo Bunny's Market Weekend, and I added a map created using a TH map stamp stamped onto the card back of a set of post-it notes (recycle, recycle, recycle!!!)  I grunged it up using distress ink pens, vintage photo ink and lots of scrunching and tearing. The image is on 3d foam pads for a bit of dimension, and  I added some twine and a skull and crossbones charm, and a SU sentiment, also popped onto 3d foam pads.

Challenges:
Creative Monday - for Men
Cards for Men - Happy Birthday
Fabulous Friday - stamping

One for a girl .. one for a boy!

I am having trouble sleeping ... so when I am wide awake at 5am ... yep ... I am crafting!!!

I stamped Jelly Pip from Sugar Nellie onto kraft cardstock and coloured her in using prisma pencils. I paper peiced her waistcoat top using some of the dp which is SU and I LOVE it ... shame it is runnig out :(  I kept the card reasonably embellishment free ... just some cream satin ribbon and a doilly heart that I distressed with antique linen distress ink to make it look cream.

Challenges:
Craft Your days away - paper piecing
Craft your passion - paper peicing
Stamp with fun - sketch
CES challenge - blues and cream
One Stop Craft challenge - colour on kraft

And one for the boys ...
I coloured this Kenny K image up a couple of weeks ago ... and lost it!!!  So having found it I got a card together this morning.  The dp is Stell Rose and I added a TH weather clock die cut from grungepaper and painted with black soot distress stain, a gear left unstained and a journalling ticket that I tore and layered using an ideology paper clip.

Challenges -
Cupcake Craft - boys and their toys
Tuesday throwdown - paper tearing
Creative Craft - boys will be boys

Boyz (and new!!)

I'm having a boyz day!!!  And been using 2 new images, one of the latest Mangas from Sugar Nellie, and one of the latest Kenny K's.

Here's a Cherry on Top from Sugar Nellie.  Its one of the new Mangas released at this weekend's SECC, and I coloured it using my promarkers.  I followed the sketch and CAS theme over at the Sugar Bowl, and the white cardstock panels are embossed using one of my new embossing folders.  I added some tiny black gems to finish.
It fits these challenges:
Craft Your days Away - Black and white (and a teeny bit of red!!)

And my second boyz card ... using teen idol from Kenny K.  I coloured him using my pens and then coloured some white buttons to match.  The dp is Basic Grey Oliver.
It fits these challenges -
Kenny K Krafty Girlz - sketch
One Stop Card Challenge - black, white +1
Allsorts - teenager card
Stamp Something - digi

I'm off to finish my cuppa, do a bit of blogging and then face the mountain that is our ironing!!
