The first combines the Passion for Promarkers colour combo, Marsh green and burnt umber, with the Papertake Weekly Challenge sketch - another fab one by Dawn.
I coloured the image (thanks Jen!!) using my promarkers and then matted onto green and brown cardstock. The dp is Basic Grey Infuse, and I matted it onto cardstock, folded the corners and added brads. Iadded organza ribbon and green ric rac and a ric rac bow. Very fitting for the weather at the mo!!!The next card uses the Everybody-Art-Challenge sketch, Allsorts theme, card for a child, and the baby's 1st Christmas theme over at A Spoonfull of Sugar. I made this card for Maddy.
I have kept it very simple - I think little ones need strong colours and not too much detail. I love this LOTV bear, and I coloured him using distress inks. The dp is DCWV and I added loops of red ric rac rather than flowers or snowflakes - a bit more touchy feely for a little one. Some gold distressing and stickles finishes it off.My craft room feels like a stranger to me at the moment - what with having been poorly and working extra hours (thinking of the crafting stash to buy when I have time!!) I have hardly been in there. Hopefully this weekend I will have time to get in there and catch up with the Christmas cards LOL!!!
