Anyway its Wednesday so time for the weekly snoop courtesy of the lovely Julia ... this is my desk as i left it ... yes i am a tidy being and need to be organised and neat in my crafting ...
My lovely, and amazingly talented crafting buddy Debbi did a fab tutorial on these Finnish stars ... they look AMAZING and are so easy to make!! I really shocked myself, and having got the big one made, did the whole resizing to do a ickle one. The potential for these is amazing ... I am thinking very pink, girly, dream-catcher-ish, with ickle charms hanging from them, and BIG and GLITZY with lots of sparkle for Christmas.
Here's a closer look see ...
And the rest of my space ... a tub full of Spellbinder diecuts (snowflakes and holly accents) ready to be put on cards, a coloured Old St Nick from Sugar Nellie (must get him on a card soon!!), and more paper to cut up and turn into stars. The wooden stamp is driving me mad ... inks too much in some places and not enough in others. I have tried blotting but haven't had much success ... any ideas??
And i have to show you this ...
... the other side of my room .. BUSES!!!!!!! I wish he was back at work!!!
Have a happy and creative Wednesday everyone,

Those stars remind me so much of the windmills we used to get at the seaside ,then after putting in sand castles used to bring home for the garden.
hoping you have better week on your own...lolin your crftroom

Oh dear hope he gets better soon then he'll be back at work!! Do what I did with my husband - relegate him to the shed at the bottom of the garden I can just about wave to him from my attic conversion craft room!! Windmills oops I mean stars are very pretty, they do look like the ones you used to get as a child on a stick. xx
Yikes, I hate it when my DH raids some of my crafting goodies. Thanks for the peek and sharing xoxo Marjo #40 or so..
A poorly man AND buses? You are a strong woman hun, lol! Such a super tidy desk - puts mine to shame. As for your stamp, it might be that the foam backing has been crushed which would make the rubber uneven - you might need to dismantle it hun, get the old foam backing off (I hear that the microwave is good for this) and whap the rubber onto some new EZ Mount. Huge hugs Sxx
Lovely decoration, thanks for the link, its nearly always true that the woman suffers more when there's a sick man lol full sympathy for your situation, hugs Jenny
Hi there. Just a quick peek around the door this week as time is definitely not on my side! I did want to visit though. Us males are not all that bad!
Poorly hubby = stressed out crafter! You need to retreat to your craft to regain your sanity lol!
You are a very tidy crafter and make me feel I should go tidy.....ah, that feeling passed by SO quickly lol!!
happy WOYWW

Sick man, buses - oh, you poor thing! My deepest sympathies :)
LOL - love the twirly whirly windmill :)
Hugs, LLJ xxx
Nothing worse than a poorly man around is there! you have my sympathy - I quite like the buses but then no-one dares put things on my desk at home so I probably wouldnt like them if they were here! thanks for sharing - love the star.
I guess I'm lucky to not have a man to clean up after. Bleubeard is enough! Sorry for you, though. I DO like that embellishment, though. I can see how much fun they would be to make. Happy WOYWW from # 11.
Ah the finnish star is beautiful, must check our Debbi's instructions - I wonder if it would work with fabric. Hope the poorly man improves rapidly - they are bad at being a bit bored and pained, huh!
Best wishes to your hubby.
Those stars are beautiful!!! ~jeni :)
We love the hubby's but need our space - so get it! Love those buses - so intricate...I'm a bit late but thanks for sharing. Sarah at 10
