Sweet Baby Girl

How cute is that ickle baby bear with her mobile?!  Having stamped and coloured the image I paper peiced the blanket. I made the sentiment tags using the LOTV blank tag and computer generated text. I stitched the dp and then added some cheescloth, gingham ribbon and a bow with a button centre.  I made the star frames and added the flowers, ickle stars and pearls.  A few more pearls and some stickles to the star and moon and it was finished.

Party invites

It is Ellie's birthday in 3 weeks, and her party is in a couple of weeks. She has chosen to have a "posh" do in a local pub/restaurant with just a few friends. and she insisted on making the invites herself...

So here they are, using Birthday Ellie. She coloured them and used my trimmer to cut the mats before decorating them. She even stamped the celebrate herself.
Letting her loose in my craft room was a bit nerve-wracking, and she is rubbish at tidying up after herself, but she has done a fab job and is really proud of herself.

With Gratitude

I stamped the butterflies using chalkboard spray - I simply made up my own 'ink pad' using cut and dry foam, spritzed it with the chalkboard spray and then inked up my butterflies.  I cut them out, and then stamped the sentiment.  I cut the fancy edge and the music score, and then punched some little white butterflies.  A bit of placing and that was it really.

Not sure if I am overly happy with this card ... but a neighbour asked me to make a thank you card, and when I asked with what, she said "What have you got?"!!!  Lesson learned - don't let the neighbours into your craft space!!  So she decided on the dies and punches, the colours and the style- I just put it together ... so it is really her not me LOL!!  But she likes it.
