Its Friday - yay!!!  I am trying hard to get back into the habit of crafting in the evenings as i am probably gonig to loose the 2 hours a day I have to myself .... more work= more craft pennies!!

I coloured this cutie, Hello little Robin,  from Sugar Nellie's Jingle Bells and Tinkle Bells release, in using my distress inks.  The dp is Basic Grey Dasher, and was one of my all time favourite Christmas papers.  I used my octagonal nesties to cut the image and mat out, the border is created using an SU punch, and the holly leaves are from a sizzix die.  I added a bit of wire and some buttons to the holly, and some red gems.  I love the ruffle gingham ribbon ... must order some more!

Seeing double

This week's Less is More challenge is "seeing double".  I had a bit of a de-clutter at the weekend, and found this fab little stamp that i used for some CHristmas cards a couple of years ago.  I made the trees into a line, but decided to have a go at doing a shadow style as i haven't ever done one!!  i stamped the image up using dark navy ink, and then stamped it onto a scrap before stamping it on to the card blank, made out of pale grey cardstock.  I them re-stamped the image in front of it.  The sentiment is stamped in the same ink.  I added some ribbon and a knot to finish it off.  I resisted all urges to add some ground by the trees, buttons, sparkle...!!

Challenges:
Less is More - seeing double
Try it Tuesday - monochrome
Totally Gorguss - bloke's card
Paperplay - 2 or more stamped images
