Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #91

It's my turn to choose the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge theme, and I have chosen aperature. You nee to have an aperature somewhere on your card.
Here's my DT card ...

I watercoloured the image and used my nestibilities (secret Crafter) to cut the image, aperature and mat out. I used my swrils die cut to create the swirl up the side and added tiny pearls and little roses. Finally I added 3 large roses to finish it off.

Totally Tilda - chocolate
Totally Papercrafts - 1 for the girlies

I watercoloured Tilda and the basket of pressies and cut them out. I added dome ribbon, a knot and flowers threaded threough it, and flat back pearls.

Here is a view of the inside.

ABC Challenge ... Y is for

This week's ABC challenge is You and Me, and we want to see 2 images, or an image with 2 people/animals on it.
This image is a one of Wendy from Secret Crafter own Manga stamp range, and I coloured it using my pens. I followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday and used a flower, pearls and ribbon.
The rest of the DT have done some cracking cards, so please visit their blogs.

Sketch and Stash 39

We have a fab sketch this time, and if you are vbrave you can have a go at making a circle easel card like some of the DT ... but not like me!!

I used my nesties to cut the circle out (leaving the folded card just insde part of the die so I got the fold). I layered cardstock and added this cute House Mouse image .. .don't ya just love those ickle meeces. I added some tiny flat backed pearls to the scalloped card base, but no ribbon or flowers, the card is too small for that!!!

Just Cute Bears #24

This week's Just Cute Bears challenge is decoupage ... you can either use a decoupage pack, or stamp and leyer, the choice is yours.
I used my Cuddly Buddly pirate download and printed of 4 of the teddy, and then cut and layered it up. The papers are from the same download and the sentiment from Martine.

Here's a view of the layering.

The photos are brill as I had to take them in the school playground, as I made the card for one of Ellie's friend's, and forgot to photograph it before she sent it!!!!

Do take time to look at the other DT creations, and join in yourself if you can.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge 90

It's the lovely Wendy's turn to choose the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge theme, and she has chosen water.
Here's my DT card ...

I used a new Mo Manning digi image, and coloured her using my promarkers and copics. I just love the chubby arms and legs, so much he toddler, and the gleeful face. I kept the layout really simply just using 1 sheet of my K and Co Que Sera paper. I cut both the image and mat out using my nesties and added a Marianne Creatibles swirl and some pearls.

Do take the time to take a peek at the other DT creations.

A few challenges

So much for getting more crafting in ... this is the first card I have made since Monday!!!

It covers these challenges
A Spoonfull of Sugar - Animals
Passion for Promarkers - think of a number
My Time to Craft- zig zags
Simon Says Stamp - Check it out
Stampavie and More - sparkling
Papertake Weekly - in Stitches
Cute Card Thursday - get fruity
Charisma Cardz - metal mickey

I love this Happy Hopper, but I have never coloured it using pens, not sure I like it, especially the apples ... or do I need more pens!!! I added stickles to the floor and some of the apples and doodled the sentiment. The DCWV papers are sparkly and if you look carefully I have done zig zag faux stitching in a stardust sakura pen round the papers. I layered a flower up and added a heart charm (don't have any apple ones!!)

We are away for a long eekend ... so no crafting for me, unless a sneak a quick make in in the morning, but look out for my Secret Crafter DT card and Just Cute bears card.

Fire

This week's Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge is Earth, Wind and Fire, and I have paired it with the sketch from Cupcake Craft challenge.
I coloured the image using my pens and then distressed the edges in yellow and orange ink. I used raffia for part of the sketch, and a Prima flower with some glitter just rubbed over it. The pearl brad was a opaque one that I coloured with my pens. This is a colour combo I am really not comfortable ... but I wanted to so something a little out of my box and comfort zone.

I have been for a power walk with a couple of friends .. would like to say I feel invigorated!!! But we ended up walking in persistent rain so I just feel like a knackered drowned rat!!!!

Pink birthday

Its hot here today, and the sun is full on my craft room in the morning ... so I had to close the blind!!!
I am trying to get back into crafting every day and doing more challenges ... so here is a challenge card.
Lili of The Valley - Sketch
Stamp with fun - birthdays
Pollycraft - Pinkalicious

My lovely blogging buddy Lols bought me this stamp for my birthday, and I have finally inked it up .. for one of Ellie's friend's birthdays!!! I coloured it using my pens and then matted the dp onto cerise cardstock. There was a sneeze disaster .. but hopefully you can't see it!!! I can't wait for autumn and no pollen!! I added the spotty ribbon and tied a bow.

I have made a huge boob though ... I used an upcoming DT challenge to make a card for one of Ellie's friend's who had his birthday and party yesterday ... only I forgot to photograph it!!!!

Just Cute Bears week #23

This week we have an open theme so you can interpret it as you want. Annie is offering a fabulous prize for one lucky person (I want it!!).

I love this cute LOTV bear and having coloured him with my pens, I paired him with this fab Basic Grey Mellow paper. I punched a butterfly, added a flower and some fibres.

As the weather is glorious at the moment I have been crafting less and been out in the garden more ... hopefully I'll get to spend some time crafting this afternoo, and I can't wait to see your bear creations.
