Again Delia is coloured in using promarkers and glittered and glimmered ... she screams out to be sparkled!!  The dp is MME Penny Lane, with lots of glittery bits in it!!  I added some ribbon and flowers from my stash.

Totally Papercrafts Challenge

Wooohoooo its FRIDAY!!!!  And that means its time for another Totally Papercrafts Challenge.  This week's theme is
ANIMALS

I've gone all Christmasy (might be having a mild panic about how few cards I have made!!).  I used this cute penguin couple from Sugar Nellie, Warm Winter Wishes, and coloured them in using my pencils.  I added a liberal quantity of glamour dust to his hat and to the floor as frosty, icy snow ... I LOVE glamour dust!!!  The dp is from Raspberry Road, and the ribbon from my stash.  The sentiment is from Craftwork cards.

Best Witches

For this spooky card I used Best Witches (although she's not ver spooky is she!!) and coloured her using my promarkers.  The dp is Authentique and I cut the clock like detail out of one piece nad added it to the web like one.  I made the loopy border with a Martha Stewart punch.  The sentiment is from Waltzing Mouse stamps.

Challenges
 I love Promarkers - spooky
Stampavie and More - autumn
Paper Shelter - Halloween
Charisma Cardz - black and orange

The Sugar Bowl #69

Its +our lovely Sugar Mama's turn to design the sketch and optinal extra for this Sugar Bowl this time.  Now for those of you who know Gayle, she has a bit of a 'thing' for gingham ...
spot the ceiling!!!!  I wonder how she found the pic??!!!

One lucky person, chosen at random, will win their pick of 4 Sugar Nellie stamps or if our entries reach over 100 you can choose 6 stamps!

I used Apple Pip and coloured her using my promarkers, before cutting her out.  The dp is Nitwits and the ruffled gingham ribbon is from my stash.

I also had a go using Donald, again coloured using promarker and flexmarkers.  The cardstock is embossed and then I added BG gingham paper ... I think its from the Oh Baby Girl range.

WOYWW

I got all inky last night ...

and then needed to glimmer it ..,
and add a stamp (this Hero Arts stamp is MASSSSSSSSIVE!!)
and finally an image coloured in promarkers and treated to the cracked glass effect.  Oh and some punched butterflies from ther left over distressed paper.
That's what's sitting on my desk this morning after a happy couple of hours last night (I do confess to using the heat gun to speed the drying up!!).  So what's on your desk this Wednesday ... pop over to the fabulous Julia's to snoop the desks of blogland.

I love the image, Butterfly girl, and these colours and the faded stamp give me that feel of autumn and all the butterflies slowly disappearing (well the ones that survive our kitten's attention!!).  I love the richness of the colours of autumn, especially those blue skies that get softer and milkier as the season goes on.  Can't wait for those frosty mornings, with scrunchy leaves and seeing your own breath in the air.

And after a bit of contemplation this morning (hubby is up and out by 5.30am!) I decided to alter this notepad ...
And now it looks like this!! ...

Challenges:
Shabby Tearoom - shabby autumn
Crafty Cardmakers - anything goes
Anything goes - diecuts, punches or both
Papertake Weekly - anything goes and punches
Passion for Promarkers - alter anything but square
Simon Says Stamp - sparkle and bling
Fab n Funky - Diecuts/punches
Trully Scrumptious - distressing

Autumn is here

After the Indian Summer last wek, the sun fooled me this morning, and my feet are freezing ... it is not warm enough for flip flops!!!

Here is another of Krista's digis, Gypsy Dancer.  I wish i had hair like her's!!  I coloured her using my prisma pencils, and had a go with the blender pencil as well as sansador.  I will get the hang of these pencils!!  The dp is from my stash ... no idea what, but I think SU from the past!!  As the paper is quite busy I just added ribbon, liking the embellie free look at the mo!

Challenges:
Totally Gorguss - sketch
Creative Stamp Friends - autumn colours

And now a tag ...

that I started last week and has sat on my desk begging to be finished ... but i have been struggling to know what to add!  Sooo ... i finally went for some bat swirls, more purple on the door and a halloween sentiment, which I stamped twice to try to get a shadow.  The tag was made using DIs, a grunge stamp, and Waltzing Mouse Hocus Pocus stamp set ... love that fence.  The door is a Lavinia one.    Think it looks spooky!

Challenges:
Stamp with Fun - halloween
Pink Elephant - trick or treat
Tuesday throwdown - halloween

A mixed bunch!

I had a bit of a crafting session last night and first thing this morning ... hubby's alarm went off at 6am so we were all awake too early for a Saturday!!

I love the idea that fairies have to do their own washing ... bet they don't iron their clothes!!!
Anyway I adore this Lavinia stamp, especially the stripy tights!  The white cardstock has been embossed using my D'Vine Swirls folder, and matted it onto black cardstock.  The punch is from SU and I added some black gingham ribbon, and then a bow (rather than a sentiment) ... very simples.

Clean and Simple Stamping - sketch
Do you Stack up - swirls
Sisterhood of crafters - silohuette stamp
Paper Play - white + one
Stampin' Royalty - Keep it simple

For this one I embossed the white cardstock and then stamped the SU image in vintage photo, and also the sentiment.  I added some teeny flat backed pearls and some spotty ribbon, which I looped before cutting ... need to sharpen those scissors!!

Challenges:
Less is More - eye colour ... mine are hazel
CAS-ual Friday - ribbon loop/tag

And finally ...
Another of Krista's images ... Stroppy Beth, coloured in promarkers and fleximarkers.  The dp is MME and i added some thin ribbon and a knot.  the flowers and brads are from my stash.

Challenges:
Saturated Canary - sketch (I promise to be back with a halloween one!)
Crazy4challenge - anything goes (send cards for charity - I send most of mine to the local charity shop)
ABC challenge - Anything Goes

And here is the inspiration for that image ... my stroppy 5 year old!!!  Beth does a good line in strop!!

I have promised the girls a 'ladies that lunch' day ... if they are good and tidy their room ... this might prove expensive for me as they are a hive of activity at the mo!!!

Basic Grey Challenge

Its time for another BAsic Grey Challenge, and the theme this time is ...
Fairytales or Nursery rhymes

so get your thinking caps on!!

I went for Rapunzel ...

I made a castle card with a tower for Rapunzel to let her hair down from.  I used a template i have has for ages and rather than maknig the zig-zag card i usely do, went for just 1 fold.  The dp is Basic Grey Wisteria, and I used dies, punches and flowers from my stash.  The edges of the castle have been distressed with walnut stain.
And here is Rapunzel ...

I used a Sugar Nellie Sassy, Rapunzel, and coloured her using my promarkers and flexmarkers.  I created a door and trellis  and then added vines and lots of flowers and butterflies.
