Rainin' Daisies

Gosh its chilly here today ... but we have a fixed boiler so the heating is on and the girls had a bath last night!
They are both back in school and preschool and I have a few days of free mornings :) so lots of crafting to do LOL!!
I have made this card for a few challenges ...
A Spoonfull of Sugar recipe 3 pieces of dp, 1 ribbon, 3 flowers, 3 buttons
Winter Wonderland sketch (and it doesn't have to be Christmas!)
Cupcake Challenge - going Girly

I watercoloured this gorgeous PB stamp and then inked the edges and added some pink stickles. All the dp is matted onto inked cardstock. I added clear buttons to the ickle flowers, and some gems to the cut out bits on the image.

My fabby blogging buddy is launching a new challenge blog for all your cute bear stamps and decoupage. She is looking for DT members so if you want to find out more just click the link.
Off to get Beth from preschool and had a warm afternoon!!

A bit of sparkle

I've made a card .. its taken since Sunday night but here it is!!!
I masked Tilda and added the bench and then watercoloured the images and the background. I stamped the snowflakes in silver and then embossed them, and added some gems. All the papers and cardstock have been distressed and inked in red ink. I added the prima flowers, some wire and ribbon to complete the card.

This card covers the following challenges (all links in my sidebar)

Roses on Paper - Christmas
Simon Says Stamp - All that Sparkles
Stamp with fun - Scene
Winter wonderland - jingle bells
Cupcake Challenge - sketch
Basic Grey Challenge - colour inspiration
Creative Card Crew - ribbons and gems

I have a stinking cold and cough and am off to bed to get some much needed rest ... children don't adapt to grown up illness well LOL!!!!! Oh and hubby's don't either LOL!!!!!!

Henry and his hot chocolate!

I'm back on the 'use a sketch to make a Christmas card ... and make 2' plan!! I have combined the WOJ challenge with the Passion for Promarker colour theme, and CCT candy corn theme (there are marshmallows!!) for this. Its the first time I have used promarkers for Henry - not sure about the mouse colouring. I should be an expert at identifying mouse colours - I clear up enough dead ones, thanks to the cat!!

I promarkered Henry and used my deckled nesties to cut him and the mat out. I have used the same dp for both, just swapped the cardstock and ribbon around. The ribbon is tied rather than use my ribbon punch (it needs a hammer and I made them when the girls were in bed last night, so a definite no no to the hammer!!). I have kept it a bit simple, just using a couple of white snowflake brads. The sentiment was a freebie.

I have realised that I have yet to post the stocking card I made for the Winter Wonderland challenge - sleep deprivation is really taking a toll on the brain cells!!!
Anyway here it is.
Such a cutie image and I coloured it in distress inks and added fluffy stuff. Again a ssimple layout and the paper is the same - something about it being around I think LOL!!

I'm not sure how much crafting I am gonig to get done over the next few days - its half term and I am working, Dave's at home and got lots of plans for days out with the children ...he's just a big kid himself LOL!!
