Christmas cards

I really should just get on and make my Christmas cards, rather than playing with different designs!!

So these 2 I made by simply embossing a panel of cardstock, adding some score lines, twine, a charm and the sentiment. I popped the cardstock onto 3d pads .  I have quite a lot of Christmas themed charms and these were really quick to make so I think a few more of these will be in the offing.

Challenges:
Less is more - hardware
Clearly Inspired - CAS
The Stampman - emboss it
Addicted to CAS - snow
Totally Gorguss Plain and simple

And after quick and easy, I needed to get messy!!
For these I used Tim Holtz stamps and stamped them in picket fence distress stain onto kraft core cordinations.  For the snowflake I simply popped into on foam pads and onto the card balnk and stamped the sentiment.

Challenges:
CAS-ual Friday - winter blues

For the snowman I added the grungy border and snowflakes (LOTV) again stamped in distress stain and some Stampendous chunky embossing enamel round the edges.

Challenges:
 Sweet Stampin' - Snow people
One Stop Craft - monochrome tones
Fuss n Fancy - feeling blue
Craft Punked - anything goes
Simon Says Stamp and show - stamp without ink
ATCs and Cards with Attitude - autumn/winter
Fat pages and cards with attitude - autumn/winter/anything goes

Cathy...all of your cards are lovely. I particularly love the ones you've done on the deep blue kraft coredinations and Tim's blueprint stamps. They are absolutely darling and I love the fact that they are quick and easy! :) Both of these cards are so nicely done! Love the white border around the snowflake card and the randomly stamped border about the snowman one! Thanks for sharing your work with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy
