As it is Wednesday now and so time for the weekly ritual AKA Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday, I thought I would share my desk mid creating ... all inky and painty ...
And the tag on the way to being finished ...
As I don't have TH tissue paper I made my own using white tissue paper and a text stamp, before crumpling it as i stuck it onto the tag. I used cranberry, denim and twilight purple dabbers to create the background, before liberally spritzing it with Tattered Angels pearl glimmer mist and spot spraying it with popiscle glimmer mist. Having dried it I added some ripened persimmon and black soot distress ink. I diecut the fence and bird, and painted them and the grungeboard letters with black dabber. When they were dry I added stardust stickles to them and diecut house, before attaching them using glossy accents. Finally I stained the seam binding using ripened persimmon, seedless preserve and black soot distress inks, and a liberal spraying of popiscle glimmer mist. I attached a witches hat charm to finish it off.
SO its not exactly the same ... but its similar!!

Howdy,
Your desk looks very tidy yet productive this week.
Good work on the tag with stamped tissue paper. I also use the TH tissue paper rolls, TH tissue tape but also make my own stamped tissue paper and stamped tissue tape and decorative masking tape. Very fun!
Would love for you to stop by my blog when you have a moment or 2.
Peace,
LuLu

Sometimes I line my spray box with tissue paper and after awhile I have a beautiful colorful piece of tissue paper to use on a project. Just crumple it and glue.

Great home-made tissue wrap, good idea. I haven't tackled this one yet. Helen, 6
Fab job Cathy. I can't get started on my tag yet but I bought some black alcohol ink in preparation for trying out the colouring your own glitter tutorial! I like you will need to improvise but that is half the fun right? Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 57
For someone who doesn't do Halloween you've created a great tag. Love the spookyness of it.

This is a fantastic take on Tim's October tag, but sadly does not have a focal image stamped so does not qualify for entry at NMW Challenges. I would love to see a stamped project though. Suzanne (Owner)
