Less is More

I didn't get a chance to play along last week, but I have managed to sneak into my craft room and make a card for this week's Less is More challenge ... one layer and off the edge.

This card features a couple of new techniques for me .... I have never been able to succesfully emboss my dies onto cardstock without cutting the cardstock .. thanks to my fab blogging buddy Ali giving me a simple explanation I have done it!!!!!!  So I embossed a Go Kreate die in the top left corner and stamped the PB greeting.  Off the edge stamping is new to me for CAS cards ... I use the technique when I make my Lavinia fairy based cards, but would not have thought of using it on its own.  So i used one of the Lavinia flower head stamps I have and stamped it in the other three corners using versafine.  And that it ... simples ;)  I love all that white space, and haven't even felt the urge to fill it:)

And while I was creating so was Ellie ...

She has been proper poorly with the gastro-enteritis bug going round school, but is brighter today and wanted to get up ... I won't show you what the rest of the table looks like ... Daddy has a LOT of sorting and tidying to do LOL!!

Well done of your embossing... it looks really good... all you need is an embossing mat and you're away!
That is a fab stamp... I may have even been inclined to use all three images in the same corner. Well done on all that white space!
See you next time

Hi ~Sandra
Super card, loads of white space...which keeps us happy LOL
For me Id like to have seen the image in full against the embossed frame...only for a change, rather than just in the 3 corners. Good for another time maybe
Thanks so much
