Bunny Baby

I have several hAnglars and most have only seen ink once or twice ... so I thought I better use one of them before they get sulky!!

I used one of my Easter Bunny stamps as I wanted to make a baby congratulations card but don't really have any baby stamps, except the WOJ Willow ones, and the girl it is for is definitely not an Elizabeth bell style fan!!!  So I masked the bunny ears off the girl before I stamped her up ... seems to have worked, and the outfit does look like a baby grow .. .just quite a big, well developed baby LOL!!!  Anyway I coloured her in using my promarkers and then used papers from my stash.  I added some organza ribbon (no bow as she doesn't 'do' bows!!) and some flowes from my stash.  Finally I punched some butterflies and added pearls to them.  All it needs is the sentiment ... I don't really do sentiment stamps (don't really do sentiments to be honest!!)  so I haven't got a suitable baby one ... any ideas???!!!

WOYWW

Its mid week so time for the snoop round everyone's desks courtesy of the amazing Julia.  Desks seemed a little tidy last week ... mine included!!  And thank you for all the Chicken pox advice .. .cornflour used like talc amazingly works!!!

I got some crackle paint at the weekend, not used it for ages, but thought I would try the picket fence one on grungeboard and dp.

So here was my desk early evening ... I had cut some TH dies out of grungeboard, and the bird cage is painted in picket fence.  I added some distressed concorde re-inker to the picket fence to paint over the flowers.   In the background my Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy image is stamped onto kraft ready to colour in.
As hubbby was out for the evening I used his side of the desk ... ignore the buses and bits and pieces!!  Here is the bits of a card I need to finish.  I coloured the image earlier in the day.

Oh and here is the cat ...
Being .. err ..helpful!!!  We are getting a 12 week old kitten on Friday and the girls are SOOO excited .. .watch out for Jack pics!!

Here is the card I made from the bits one the 'bus desk' while the grungeboard dried ...
This is a Sugar Nellie Gorguss Girl, coloured in promarkers and copics and cut out.  I used pink petticoat gingham, and added card candy.  The fab sentiment is by CC Designs and is perfect for this image!!

Challenges:
Papertake Weekly - sketch
Stamps r Us - there was a little girl
Right I have to get a move on and do some jobs before the children arrive ... catch up with your desks later :)

A couple of Sugar Nellies

The girls are back at school and I am working full time again ... so crafting less :(  But I have managed to sneak a couple of quick cards in!!!

I love the Manga images Sugar nellie have, and A Cherry on top is a fab, easy one to colour (I have been known just to add a bit of grey highlight!!) .  I coloured it using my promarkers and then cut him out.  I kept the card really simple, just matting onto navy cardstock and using off cuts of red gingham paper from Pink Petticoat. I embossed the white panel using my Swiss Dots folder.  I decided to keep it embellishment free.

Challenges:
Sugar Bowl - Sketch
Diecut Dreams - red/white/blue
Cupcake Craft Challenge - cooking up a storm

For my second, quick card I used Donald ... doesn't he look sad in his puddle, perfect for a get well card.  Again he is coloured using my promarkers and I used my nesties to cut him out.  I kept it simple again, using dp from my stash and some ribbon.  I layered up some flowers.  I just need to find a Get Well Soon sentiment ... I would make one on the pooter but am rubbish at getting the font size right!!

Challenges:
A Spoonfull of Sugar - Get well soon
Allsorts - Lemon and Lime
Oh la la Creations - Summer Flowers

And before I go ... don't forget on Friday Sugar Nellie have their Carnival of colour ... new stamps are released and they are gorgeous ... trust me!!!!  I have been saving my pennies for it!!
